This is undoubtedly the No.1 video on how to be focused.
    Helpful points:
    1. Retain your focal power by making fewer decisions. (Just stop browsing too much because it asks you to make immediate decisions, hence it drains your power of decision making).
    2. Define your mission first and then focus only on things that move you forward towards your mission.
    3. Learn Saying No - Just say "NO" to everything, project or opportunity in first response. It will allow you to rethink and make a decision based on your mission.
    Thanks #SubhaMalik

I have to tell you man, I saw this video for the first time about a year or so ago, and it did absolute wonders for me. I applied these principles to my life and education, and I went from a 2.5 student to a 3.3 in three semesters, making the deans list each time. I've since faltered a bit in the last month or so, mostly because of the difficulty curve and the amount of stress in recent classes I'm taking. Re visiting this video again has helped me again I think.

Shaoor khan A good rule of thumb to follow is to not browse on facebook, reddit, twitter, instagram, and those types of sites. It's ok I think to just check your news feed on fb, to see if anyone is trying to contact you or show you things, but thats when these rules begin to apply. Don't scroll down on your fb homepage.Don't look at everyvideo people send you. Never, ever , ever just read news feeds for the hell of it. Just knowing that you are applying these principles will help you greatly when you turn to any task

    • @KhanStudySpot
      @KhanStudySpot 7 років тому +6

Yeah. That's exactly what I need to be doing. I have friends who tell me and they actually don't study at all and sleep quite well but they don't do anything else as well. And so when they sit in a class they remember each and every word from the previous week while I don't remember anything of it.

This is the video that changed my life. I saw it for the first time when i was second year student, two years ago. My life was not good, i was about to drop from my university. Then i was searching videos to change my life and i got this video. I got 3 A+ that semester, bought two cloth for my mom, sweater for my two brothers and a belt for my dad. In addition to that i got a job which pays a lot of cash in the summer time. Since then i follow every principle Brendon Burchard suggests and i am having a wonderful life. Thank you brendon for your efforts. Be sure you are definitely changing lives. I will always remember you and will thank you till i die.

You have no idea how much this helped me figure out what I’ve been doing wrong all this time! In my adult life it’s been challenging to take on so much at once and I’ve been defeated by stressed, > 10 years now! Last night I told myself I should close browser tabs and windows and focus on one thing at a time. I started this last night and saw your video suggestion. It really stuck with me when you mentioned that feel accomplished and gaining momentum makes me more apt to continue to get things done. I’m already applying this to my life now. Thanks so much

I even messaged a friend about these thoughts.. And NOW I just watched this!!! Wow!! I truly believe that God is working in my life and in me. Notes:
    1. Make fewer decisions. (Stop browsing/googling it's making decision
whether or not you should focus on one thing, do things that are intentional)
    2. What is your mission for the day? (What do you desire in life, or make a difference in the world)
    3. You need to progress more.
    4. Just say "NO". (Put some thought, how much will you get out if you put in)

Have a clear mission, know the steps to get there, make a solid plan and stick to it until mission is accomplished. Don't do anything but just that.Mission Accomplished. One very important factor is to break the steps into very small easy task to do. It helps to stay focused as well. And time ourselves for 20 mins and take a 5 min break and then hit to next 20 mins. Keep doing it until the work is done. I found that very effective especially when i have to study.

I love this video. I have watched it sooo many times, I still struggle to say no. So many people need help, but it feels un-meaningful to me, but then it feels bad if I don't help them. I need to focus on my mission.

Hey there, check out Brendons "release meditation" video. Its super easy, we can meditate with Brendon and he takes you through it step by step. Don't want to blow a fuse on that busy mind of yours my friend. Check it out, might begin to give you a little space in that head to settle and focus more. :)
