Congratulations. One of the clearest, well explained DYI video. It will help me confidence to construct and modify one of these units.
I don't know if the drawer mechanism will handle it, but an experiment I intend to pursue is to add an insert to the top of the drawer - a simple drop-in piece of melamine cleated to the sides of the drawer to form a platform when the drawer is opened. Items such as a small clothes basket could be placed on top of the open drawer to assist loading and unloading the drum. The drop in 'shelf' could be easily removed to access the drawer contents.

I just bought this at Bunnings NZ. so they’re still available. Thanks to this video it was a whole lot easier to put together. The rails on mine weren’t stamped but I could see in your video how to put them on. A very solid system and I did pick up your very good suggestion about wheels. Excellent walk through, thanks.

Good attention to detail. Also, very valuable feedback on Bedford's after-sales support.

Ive always wondered why not 2 just on the back, for easy moving. No need for a dolly just tilt it back and move.
    Great mod.

You are not building it. You are putting it together..!

That's a good point Jack. I'll tell my builder friend he just puts a house together. 🤔. Only kidding, but saying putting a pre-built flat pack together just doesn't have the same ring to it. Cheers 👍

@@jojacobs305 Sorry for the delay Jo. This message didn't show up in my app for some reason. I hope you've got it all sorted now. I had the opposite problem with my drawer. It was too loose. I"m sending good wished your way. 🤞

Any chance you could put 2 of the drawers on top of eachother to increase the height of the washing machine and take advantage of the double draw??

Do you think this stand could support both the washing machine and dryer stacked on top of each other??

It would probably put it over the weight limit... The washer he's working with is 72 kgs and the dryer is 52 kgs.. that's almost at the 130 kg limit of the stand.. add in the water while the machine is running and it will put it over said limit
