The sad part is he was supposed to have a bigger arc, because Pitt was a vainglorious asshole that nobody wanted to work with. That's what got Darmody killed in the end.
It was always planned for him to be killed off, but it was ramped forward for a series of just.. absolute unprofessionalism. Look at what he's done since. One title, and arrested for assault. Dude's unhinged.
