Rob's baritone on the tag of Where the Southern Roses grow is haunting. He was one of the best. What a great performance.

They were the finest quartet in 1993 and continued to grow in skills as the years progressed. The loss of the baritone was a tragic event, but we are fortunate to have this video to remind us of the quality singing they shared with loving audiences. They were, to a man, the humblest and kindest men of character and represented the Barbershop Harmony Society in the finest order.

I had the great fortune to listen to Rich sing "Look for the Silver Lining" when I was in 2nd grade, auditioning for the solo of the same song on "Smile Day"...don't remember exactly why it was named that. Mrs. Lane picked Jeffrey Rogers over me for that but Rich's performance help cement my love of singing...I then later had the Great Misfortune to have to try out for a high school musical immediately after Rich had his try out...thinking, "Why am I even here?" Luckily, my tryout was not a disaster but Rich, of course, got the part that I was up for....A great voice...almost angelic early on...Thanks for those memories and inspiration Rich.

I remember them fondly at the International in Calgary in 1993, first and only International contest I was able to attend. They have a great sound, fit for a gold med

Never heard a better bari than this. Also, love to watch Jim's expressive eyes and his eyebrows' movements that bring home the song's message.

Counting down my favorite moves by the legendary Rich Knight moves in this performance... #3 "rockin" @4:37, #2 gyrating on Jim's leg @5:11, #1 a masterful transition form the "charlie's angels" into a "michael jackson" @5:52 ...EPIC!
