My nightmare is being parked in a secluded area, someone slashes my tires and starts to break in and I can't drive away. Stay safe
Holy moly I didnt even think of someone slashing my tires😮
You can drive on slashed tires.
That's why we have a 2nd Amendment. Use it.
You can drive on flat tires. You’ll destroy the rims, but in a life or death situation, who cares about rims?
Just remember your steering and braking will both be less responsive and plan accordingly.
OMG same. This is why I don't do van life, sadly. I'm a single woman as well so it makes it all a bit scarier.
Your positive attitude even in the middle of a difficult situation is incredible. I’m glad you guys are ok.
Me too, terrible this to happen to you two
Glad you guys are ok. We were broken into in France so we understand what you are going through. We have security measures too but the use Laughing gas to make you sleep. Thank goodness they did not get in our home or yours!!!!
Take a moment and hold each other tight! Take care guys!!!!!
does make you ask yourself if metal shutters like for storms couldn't be put on windows.
hope love and prayers over your travels helps in moving through incident 🌹
@@RosesDewdrop-eo2kl like the windows on the special military RV in the movie Stripes!
@@TheColleen1959Campingcarjoa was also robbed in France. They slept through it because the robbers used gas also.
This is the best advertisement for 3M window tint/protection ever! They should be forking over a fortune to you two! I bet a ton of van lifers will rush out and get it after seeing this video! So glad you are both okay (poor Curt! Ouch!) and hope it doesn't permanently mar your confidence in the life you are living. I am sure it will change your feelings short term but hopefully not permanently. Love you both and your videos are amazing!
3M film is very well known. Ask any home burglary victim that had their windows smashed.
Agreed! I didn't realize there was a solution to this very rational fear. I will definitely be looking into it for my van.
Many states have laws about how dark your front windows can be tinted.
lol, Going to get some tomorrow.
I'll certainly buy some for my van but had knowledge of it already before this video. It is a great investment and by the video the evidence is as clear as day. Great real world test. That 3m film could very well have saved your lives. Best investment to make on a camper van.
I have a 25 acre horse farm, and I do not trust anyone around me. People suck. I have dogs, and security cameras. I wake up to anything that goes bang in the night and am ready to Bang back. Sorry ya'll went through that.
Must be amazing.... I agree with you. People do suck. I'll stick with animals and myself.
Correct. We can relay upon animals butitis different in the case of humans
Sick jn the mind people and especially drug users .
I’m getting myself a house in land in the country very soon. I’m ready to go bang if anyone dares enter my property, uninvited. No trespassing. I don’t trust. Hardly anyone either. I’ve gone through enough. If they want to disobey the signs and threaten me with their presence on my property, where they have no business, they’ll be very sorry. I won’t be sorry.
We used to permanently keep duct tape criss crossed across all our windows at home in Okinawa for the cyclone seasons. That 3m security film sounds like a winner.
I'm a Florida girl... We know about duct tape for hurricanes! Did it every season at my grandma's house when we were little!
@@SnowAndCurt That reminds me of the story of a tornado that hit in the deep south and a lady got lifted up into a tree and got stuck there for everyone to see her undies and she was so embarrassed that now she has what she calls her special tornado undies she wears when there's going to be a tornado. Can't remember where I heard that story.
@@shepatown😳😂
@@shepatown 🤪😅🤪 Very funny. Thank you for the laugh. My best girlfriend that I grew up with., who is like a sister to me, knowing her since three and hanging out almost every day together…. She got sucked into a tornado into the eye. I’m so it’s been a very long time. I’m pretty sure she said she was thrown out of it.
She was about 50 feet up. I lost her when we were 22. She had epilepsy, grand mall seizures, since a baby. She had a seizure in her small bathroom in the apartment, she lived in. Her head hits the sink and she died. She died on her son’s , my Godson, seventh birthday. She was only 16 years old when the tornado sucked her up! R.I.P. Lynne. We were supposed to grow altogether, sitting on our porch and rocking chairs.
@@TraciDoering-hw8hu That's quite an interesting story. Sorry for your loss. She sounds like she was very resilient to live through that tornado. 22 is too young to go. Thanks for the feedback.
Our van were broken into while we were having supper in San Antonio TX. We were parked in the restaurant parking lot. They took about $10,000 worth of our belongs ( camera gear and computer mostly)
They broke the drivers side door lock to gain entrance. Home owners insurance covered the items. We now have a security system!
Oh wow! I'm so sorry that happened to you... It's one of the biggest fears for us van lifers.
I'm going to get this this security film. For my van I just got. Being solo it's a safety thing for sure.
Mkk?vnn..
…what was the restaurant? (Going to San Antonio)
My late husband was a policeman, homicide investigator, narcotics officer, firefighter, medic and then a prison administrator. I was a mom, medic and I investigated all kinds of damages for a communication company. With all that said, the one big issue I noticed was the way you parked your van. Always, always park in such a way that you can leave immediately… so never park straight in a space! Always back in a spot like you were in so to leave fast all you have to do is start the engine and drive away. You never want to have to backup into traffic . The best place to park in malls or big centers like Walmart or places like that, is along the side in a well lite area and closer to the front that has cameras around. Otherwise, you’ve done your research well. Maybe a siren alarm or a recording of a big dog barking. A sign that says “Beware of the dog “ never hurts either. An outside mounted security camera is also an idea with a security warning that anyone coming near would be caught on camera. I wouldn’t advise any weapons like a gun ever, unless you are in the USA. Guns don’t solve everything , especially in a foreign country. Be safe out there… blessings…..
My condolences.......
Good advice
why don't guns work in foreign countries?
No wonder some people park reverse into parking spaces. Thank you for the advice. I’m going to do it from now on.
@@MrBibi86- the export laws for taking a gun out of the U.S. are very stringent. In addition, virtually all countries have strict import laws.
Perhaps a window shatter alarm would stop the robber from breaking the window. I saw videos demonstrating 200 micron film prevents glass from shattering for 3-4 hits. He said they heard 5-6 laud bangs, so perhaps 2-3 hits too many and the windows shattered, eventually.
I would invest in a cable insulation tester... When parked a cable is deployed below the van to contact the ground and the other lead attached to the exterior metal... When turned on the skin of the van is live 1000v... That's a poke nobody will mess with.
Thats a damn shame.People are so cruel to do such things.
@@karenboyette2897it's a great idea. Ok, maybe 500 volts would be sufficient.
I would definitely do that if I where to travel anywhere😮
@@karenboyette2897shame on you to you assume they wont kill in those countries
Would that even work they smashed a window.
I solo camp and would never go without my 75 lb dog. He alerts me if he hears or notices anything or anyone
Welcome to the world! Same thing can happen in the middle of NYC!
or Casper, Wyoming.
I’m so impressed how well the window stood up to all that bashing, so glad you both and the kitties are ok, such a huge shock for you both it will take a while to get over such a shock, take care guys x
Yes ... There will be some nervous nights while we settle back down
@maryfox3804 wow! Impressive stuff!! Luckily in the UK we’re not subjected to extreme weather conditions but from a security angle it’s a must have . 😊
Where y'all in the states ? We are living in a different world and if you are going to be out there you need a gun . It's only gonna get worse what they say . Take care so sorry it happened to y'all .
You guys need to invest in a firearms
Sorry that happened and hope it never happens again.
So terrifying! I'm so glad both of you and the kitties are fine and you only lost a window! So great that you were able to get the window fixed and filmed on the same day. I also really respect how you emphasize that something like this can happen anywhere in the world and you don't hold any ill will toward Chile. Continue with safe travels, Curt, Snow and kitties! ❤
Chile is literally the only south american country thats "safer" than USA, as in homicide rates and stuff. Having it happen there is quite unlucky and definitely shows it could have happened anywhere.
Extremely glad they are ok, all four of them!
another place to park would be at a hospital, they are 24/7 and you can probably get a good nights sleep, security at hospitals is kinda low risk parking but at least there is security there.
We are too high for most city parking lots... Hospitals included 😔
That film on the window was a life saver safe journey ahead greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
You are living on the edge. Cartels are nuts down there.
I am sure this was just some homeless guy looking for petty thievery. Cartels have much bigger fish to fry.
@@sharonhodkinson2011Yes, I believe you’re right.
I don't believe drug cartels are an issue on the west coast of S. America below Columbia. Drug usage st the same everywhere.
You sound like a Biden administration thug
What a scary wake up call. In my mind, you prepared extremely well for an event like this. The fact that this is the first time in all these years just shows how safe traveling is overall. I didn’t know about that 3m film but thankfully you had it on your windows and were able to get it replaced.
How scary, but glad everything and everyone is ok.
I was going to sleep in town one time, guy at Fly shop said, It's safer if you go in the mountains. People suck, glad your OK.
Yeah stealth is better for town , not very much for RV.
Glad ya'll are okay. The bad guy probably didn't realize you were inside the van when he beat on the window. He was just trying to break in, grab what he could, then run. As soon as he heard Curt yelling, he took off. So it wasn't like he was trying to hurt YOU. That's what you gotta keep in mind. There are thieves everywhere. Maybe get a big loud alarm that'll go off when somebody touches your van?
As a future vanlifer, I am very happy to know that you are all safe after this ordeal. Wishing you have a safe trip from now on.
I have told everyone who would listen about how you both approach every situation with respect and positivity and because of that, you have received the same treatment. This is even more proof. This was a terrible situation but you held no ill will and managed to get the window repaired and reinforced on the same day! Thank GOD your heart held up and Curt has intact ribs. Onward and upwards. ❤
I'm so blessed
I'm new to your channel but you seem like two of the sweetest people. I will continue to watch. And I'm so glad your safe.
How terrifyingly frightening! Sounds like your instinct to make noise kicked in enabling you to thwart off further attack. With the the exception of Curt’s injury I’m so glad no one was hurt during the attack on your van. Continue safe travels my friends. ❤️
While inside your vehicle, if someone tries to bother you, pick up your keys and hit the panic button alarm. Usually drives them away.
Even at home I keep my car keys on my nightstand.
Thank the Lord, you all are safe❤
yes Jesus!
What deity manufacturers window film similar to their 3M product?
Delusional.
Thank goodness for Curt putting the security film on the windows. I'm sure the robber had no idea you 2 were inside until Curt started screaming. Thankfully everyone is ok. It goes without having to be said travel safe and take care.
Sorry this happened to you guys. It happened to the Vandersons in Chile also I believe, last year. They came back to their van after a nice night out and the window was smashed. They spent two hours looking for Graham and ended up finding that he hid in the van in a spot he never went to before, thankfully. I think they got the same stuff on their windows you have after that. I could have the details wrong. That security tint is worth every cent.
People are the best or the worst, everywhere. Keeping your humanity as you two and the Vandersons have, is what I do admire about you and them.
Walk in peace guys and keep the videos coming.
that happened in Panama to the Vandersons
@@pablolagosKS yes, you are right. Panama City I think I remember now. They had more luck in that they were not actually in the van like Snow and Curt, which I believe is much more frightening. As Curt and Snow said, it can happen anywhere. Good and bad people live everywhere. Thank you for correcting me!
I think my biggest fear would be someone breaking in while I'm not home and letting my animals run out and be lost. I don't think I could relax away from the vehicle. 😬
I think it's unconscionable to live in a van with multiple cats. One dog is okay.
THAT would be my BIGEST fear if I had pets in the car or at home!! To me that would be horrific and heartbreaking!!
It’s illegal in most countries to lock an animal in a vehicle.
@@NotFalling4itmobile homes do have air conditioning

Be cateful in truck stops too, I worked for a large trucking company & we had more theft problems at truck stops than anywhere else. Stay safe!!
Truck stops as in pilot- flying J or state rest stops?
That would freak anybody out , I lived in my van for years , and never had that happen .
God bless yas , peace from Australia .
Well, that was intense. I can only imagine what you are feeling. In our travels my husband and I had several very scary incidents, and it's not a good feeling. We were only protected by a little 2-man tent on our 2 yr tour on our bicycles, but we didn't let those times influence us So glad you , the kitties and the van are okay and I'm amazed at how quickly you were able to get the window repaired and the film replaced. Stay safe out there, guys.
Well, so thankful that God's angels were watching over you, and you guys responded and that guy ran, And you all are all right. This was a great video and you guys are a tremendous blessing. Be blessed and know that God's got your back.❤❤
So glad you guys and the kitties are ok. Terribly scary thing to happen, I can’t imagine. Lucky you were able to find window and security film so quick! May this week be much better for you.
Thanks, @VanityBitty!
Thank God you are both ok. Also, a good thing to do is hold your hand on the horn let it beep for as long as possible to make others help. Have fun on your adventure's sunshine lights. Love from Australia. 💛💛🌺🌺
At least you had each other glad you're safe
Your 3M film worked as intended. It was scary, but because you weren’t naïve and thought ahead, you’re OK. Well done. I’m so sorry you experienced this yet so grateful you’re going to be OK. ❤
I got chills listening to this. I’m so glad you both knew what to do especially waking instantly from sleep. There are sorry thieving Aholes everywhere in the world. Glad there are more of us than them. 😘
Omg! What a horrid experience! So deeply grateful that you are both okay. After all the travels throughout all the countries....crazy! It makes no sense. You were prepared with the spotlight, the hollering...and the 3m film! Sending heaps of love to you all from Canada 🇨🇦
Yeah bought some 3M security tape it really is worth the investment.
Your van doesn’t have alarm. Thank God everything is ok
My van has an alarm but it is not armed when I am in it as it would go off when I am moving around. I will look into other kinds of alarms
I'm sure glad you're both fine. I have been hearing a lot of van lifers saying they're being attacked outta the blue. I know you guys are strapped for protection. Now I see why others have their dogs with them. Be safe.
Sorry for the scare guys. Please stay safe always. Hugs to you both!
I'm so sorry that y'all had to experience that. If it had been me I would have found the closest police station and park there for the remainder of the night. I was traveling to N. Georgia by myself and did feel very uncomfortable at a rest stop, so I went to the highway patrol station off I-75 and asked if I could park there to rest for a few hours to which the graciously said yes and even came to check on me a couple of times. I hope that this doesn't stop your travels or detour your explorations.Happy trails and safe travels to you and Curt.
So glad you guys were prepared for the worst but sorry you had to experience the attack!❤️
Had someone try this on my van I have an train airhorn with a 2 gallon tank as soon as I realized wtf was happening I emptied the airtank very quickly saw 2 men running away. I had my 40 cal. force multiplier as backup.
thankfully in Az we have a stand your ground law. I'm armed always with my 357 mag, 380 auto, Its a bit smaller than a 9mm, and my work horse 9mm.
👍👍Good to hear 'all you suffered' was a broken window ... as it coulda been much worse.
That tinted security film is a cool product and apparently works really well!!!
So glad that you can fix your window, that the robbery was unsuccessful and that your instincts to yell out scared off the culprit. This happened in a well lit place in Africa too. You're right, can happen anywhere.
I’m happy that you are continuing your van life despite the incident. We’re always in potential danger from fires; break ins; robbery no matter what our living arrangements are. Glad that the two of you and your little panthers are safe and uninjured.
I will make sure that my SUV is fitted with the security film. I’m living in my SUV due to the high cost of housing in Ontario, Canada. Your experience has been an education. Thanks for relating it to us.
Pleased you are all OK, Glad Curt had a loud voice, very scary for you and perfectly understandable that you are left feeling vulnerable - you are both stronger than the low life’s that tried to do this. So pleased you have reflected on this in such a positive direction with good strategies, you don’t deserve this. Much Love to you both, keep exploring the world with your positive energy.
Gosh you guys I feel so bad this happened, may the Lord be with you and his protection be with you. GOD BLESS.
I was terrified once while camping, using my SUV and a tent. One night I heard the sounds of footsteps outside my SUV. I WAS TERRIFIED. Got out my firearm and just listened. After 30 minutes being scared, I looked out and saw 2 cows.
We feel for you all Snow, Curt and kitties but so thankful you are doing okay... it's not a reflection of the true Chilean...stay safe and may you continue to enjoy your trip 🙏
I truly think that the pandemic affected all of us in such a way that there is a certain mental vulnerability have become somewhat deranged. Hoping that in the next couple years things normalize a bit.
Thank God you are safe, and everything is back in order. You are a rolling advertisement for 3M security film. They should sponsor you, because I suspect that many of your subscribers are planning on upgrading their window film! That was really loud, so there was some serious force involved. You took all the precautions you could, and it has paid off. ✌️❤️🚐. 🙌🏻 🙌🏻
Its just the nature of the world and not Chile. The US is bad for this...

Wow, that was so scary. When I heard the banging on the glass my heart started pounding and I felt sick to my stomach at the same time. I can't begin to imagine how scary it was for you and the babies. 😢 I am so glad you're all ok and so glad you had a plan!
Our poor kitties .... They were terrified.... It made me cry to see them so scared
@@SnowAndCurt Awww...Poor babies. 😿 I think I would have cried too. I'm glad they were able to sleep with you guys the rest of the night.
@@SnowAndCurtawww poor little peanuts, I’m so glad y’all are ok. This unfortunately IS the world we live in. I just watched a video tonight and the woman was getting out of her car with a car seat. Everyone in the comments seem to concur. They must’ve followed her home. They made her their mark because she had the car seat oh, and when she got out of the car, she would be preoccupied with the baby and she was traveling alone. They took her purse and keys. Thankfully, they did not hurt her or the baby or did use a gun to intimidate her. She didn’t put up a fight. She just gave up the backpack with her money in it and phone and keys. She was only worried about her baby which was good that she had her priorities in her brain about her. It’s so scary anymore.
I'm so glad you're all OK. That was horrifying to me, can't even imagine the level of shock and fear you and the cats felt!
But you know what, I'm not surprised at the sensible, practical, logical ways you both handled it. Bridge builders have got to be by nature clear thinkers who excel at problem solving!
Superior videography, by the way!! I loved the presentation! Thanks!
Being prepared is the best defense for this type of intruder. No doubt it was scary. Im 65 and live in my camper
so I understand your worry of this happening. Very glad you are both okay..Blessings be upon you..Be Strong, Be Safe & Never Surrender.
Echoing what so many others have said, your positive attitude, especially after such a frightening experience, is admirable! This is probably a stupid question for those in the know, which I am not, but do you also put the film you talked about on the front windshield? I'm toying with the idea of doing a bit of traveling in my standard van to visit friends but I'm concerned about having to stop along the way to sleep and being vulnerable to the same type of attack you've gone through. Thank you so much for sharing your positivity and your knowledge--and the lady who mentioned backing into a space or some other quick-getaway space is absolutely correct! Stay safe!
Yes, we have it on the windshield... but you want to keep a special tool inside in case you ever need to break your way out of the vehicle.
Thank you so much for answering my question, I really appreciate it. I'll definitely find out about getting this done (as well as asking about special tools!)@@SnowAndCurt
Wow! What a huge scare that was!! Sadly, My own personal feeling is that you would be way more likely to experience this sort of thing here In the USA. The fact that you have been traveling for four years in Mexico, Central America, Argentina and more without any trouble is a HUGE testament to the people there. So very glad you are all ok and without physical harm!
Hats off to the wonderful people who were so efficient in getting you back in one piece and on the road again. God bless you all with continued safety and travels. 💖🤗👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏
Actually, even with so many RVers in the US, it is a rare event here. Mostly likely that's because people know almost everyone in the US. has a gun in their van.
@@margietucker1719 that’s a good thought. Van- lifers aren’t stupid, that’s for sure. I still think that right now with this crazy regime, that the US is more dangerous.
I'm glad you did this video. So glad that ALL of you are okay. Now that I'm doing more than weekend warrior, I need to think more about security. I'm going to check into having the security film added to my windows. Please continue to enjoy your traveling.
I have told you to stay safe and now I see how safe you do stay. So glad you were prepared and are now able to move on and keep traveling. Looking forward to catching up with you on your next video. Take care. 💖
We try to be as prepared as possible .. this shook us... But we will be ok 😊
A couple of ideas. Get a ccw, get a camera with a motion light possibly. They have so many different types now you'd easily be able to find one that would alert you if anyone was coming close. I think it might deter at minimum. And get yourself a piece of steel to cover all glass. Get yourself a blow torch Incase someone tries coming in. Also get yourself a ferocious dog that does not agree with others getting into it's personal space. Get a kevlar blanket to sleep underneath and most importantly get yourselves an escape hatch built into the van roof with a mini helicopter to quickly fly away from the danger. Hope this helps and be safe ALL THE TIME.
So sorry to hear of your horrible situation. Glad that you and cats are okay. Another van lifer on a video said that she alerted security that she would be parked in their lot. Security was at least aware that she was there and made her feel a little safer.
That was terrifying! You did a great job of telling the story. Thank you for sharing the good, the bad and the ugly.
Oh dear, when I saw the title of today's video, my heart dropped. You guys don't post clickbait related titles. I'm so sorry this happened to you both. When they say you really can tell someone's character by how they deal with scary or stressful situations. Well if anyone had any doubts before, that you and Curt are truly kind and positive people, this video demonstrated it in spades.
You are so correct that what happened to you could happen anywhere. I think it's sad when people start associating one unfortunate incident with a country/city or the people. Thank you for sharing what happened to you with such respect for the people and country of Chile.
Wishing you and Curt safe travels always, with a special wish today, on my nation's 156th anniversary as country. Happy Canada's Day 🤗🇨🇦
Well said 👏. Totally agree with you.
That was frightening. One of the reasons travelling with another person is safer. I've thought a lot about security & one of the things I've thought of is to have security grills attached to windows that can only be undone from the inside. That & security film. Safety, is the number 1 most important thing.
Proves that Protective Window Film actually works
Glad you guys are okay. You're right, it could have happened anywhere. Sending good vibes your way....
So sorry this happened to you. Your attitude is great, and so glad your instincts kicked in. It could have been worse is you were out on an excursion and the thieves had time to get inside. Travel Safe!!
Such a scary incident for you both! Someone was desperate but thank goodness Curt scared him and your van is so secure! 🤗
I just found your channel. You guys did all the right things. So glad you're OK! I hope your kitties are happy again.

Are they bullet proof windows
Very scary situation and just a few nerves frazzled. That is fortunate. Within 15 hours to have the window replaced, security film applied And getting the exit papers for the kitties is a testament to your planning ahead! It seems like you two realized that too. I think it was good of you to share this episode and go over all the preparedness you have in place to keep you as secure as possible. I didn’t even know there was such a thing as security film for vehicle windows.
I have had a few close calls during my travels in Central and South America over 7 yrs. The scariest was being robbed when I was asleep. It took just a few minutes upon waking to know someone had been in my hotel room during the night. I freaked out for a few moments until I realized, that they left me alone and only stole what was within reach, a phone and my purse. They shimmied up the side of the bldg and came in thru my open patio door. I was on the 2nd floor. It happened during lockdown so we surmissed that someone observed me going to the ATM as there are not many ladies using 2 canes. Luckily I had taken my cash out of my wallet and put it in my hiding place.
Glad your both safe, must have been terrifying. Just goes to show things like this can happen anywhere. I had my van stolen last August in UK. Your instincts were spot on, and a positive attitude goes along way take care guys. Always enjoy your videos
Glad you’re ok. Was a scary event. Get camera’s fitted, get tooled up and get some big lights so you can light up the whole outside area. I know you were not in a darkened area but for the future the lights work well. The bombproof vinyl, as we call
it in the UK is pretty good. Good call. Saved a ton of glass everywhere. I know you have cats, maybe invest in a good guard dog. I did RV driving throughout California into Yosemite mountains.. there were a good few moments of danger. ‼️ Be safe and enjoy your time on the road. ❤
I am just seeing some of the vids, I know it’s a year ago, just a thought, I have a front/rear cam loaded into my van. It records full time if I choose or it will do on movement for nights. It auto records if anything moves outside. I also travel most times with at least one of my 3 furbabies, my mini Aussie girl sounds like a huge Cujo ✌️💜🕯️
So glad you are all safe!! 🙏🏻
Oh boy......what a bad night!! Very sorry to hear of what happened. It could have been so much worse.....thank God for the window security protection. Relieved you both and the kitties are all okay and that your window was repaired quickly and cheaply. 💙💚💛💜❤

Yikes. I’m so glad you didn’t hurt or even worse. Our world is changing….Some people are just awful. I’m sorry this happened to you. Stay safe and blessed. ❤
You can rig simple hand held device , that could deliver a significant shock through the metal of a door handle, or the frame of a van.
Just be on a mattress when you deliver it.
They wont come NEAR your van.
Could you be more specific. I'm now interested in some kind of set up you suggested.
I’m so sorry this happened to you both and Kitties,,, but I’m grateful you are all safe and sound and that all was resolved easily and quickly due to your combined wit and resourcefulness. What a great example of Positive Thoughts and proactive partnership 🙌🏾 I appreciate you sharing your experiences 👏🏽🌺
so glad you are ok. such a scary time. i am adding you both to my forever book of prayer for safety.
🥰
Thank you so much!
Wow….and not in a good way 😢. The way you navigated the break in and the aftermath was stellar. Fear and shock aside, you are both so adept in getting things fixed and up and running again. Let’s hope this helps many other van lifers facing the same horror. You’re both troopers ❤
Glad you both were safe and repairs were swift. God bless and be safe.
It's addictive to watch. It seems like a parallel life, a total opposite. A fresh-faced duo experiencing things I've never experienced. If I had experienced them, I might have reacted differently, but even so, seeing their experiences accumulates knowledge about life.
I’m glad you and the kitties are safe now. What a scary experience but thank you for being so positive. ❤
Wow, this was scary! Glad you guys are OK. And thanks for telling us about that security film!
I can't compliment your attitude enough. Thank you for modeling a mature, calm and very reasonable response to another person's desperation. Your van is pretty fancy compared to others on the road... I guess I'm surprised it's taken this long before someone tried to break in. I'm sure you're correct that the person who smashed your window only intended to steal property from an empty van for financial gain and had no intent to assault anyone. So happy your fix wasn't too expensive and didn't take too long and, mostly, that you both seem to genuinely recognize that you can continue your journey safely - happy adventuring!!!!
That security tint is amazing….. it sure stopped your smash and grab ….I want to put it on my 95G 20 Chevy… safe travels…
We see fire rolling with fire lights on all the time. And I live in a little city with 60+ thousand people
So glad you four are safe and sound after your scary night. Thank you for keeping it real. Hugs
Oh my goodness! So happy you and the kitties are safe! Once again you two shine in the face of adversity. I love you attitudes! You both are exceptional people. ❤️🌟
Thank you so much!
I'm so glad for you guys that nothing worse happened and you got such a great response from the businesses you dealt with. Pretty economical considering the damage. Safe travels!
Glad you're both okay (kitties too). What a good testimonial for the 3M film. Your survivor attitude is inspiring.
That can happen anywhere here in America. He was definitely trying to break in to steal stuff. Glad you two are ok
So glad you and your kitties are ok. Happy that you got your window replaced and tinted so quickly. I know that brought you a little comfort after a bad situation. Stay safe and keep doing you!❤️❤️❤️
So glad you guys are okay. The way I see it, the only disadvantage is geographical. You are in unfamiliar territories and unsure of your surroundings. You are right, this can and will happen anywhere, so it definitely is not a negative reflection against Chile. Praise God all is well. Stay safe and take care!
Yo soy chilena lamento mucho lo que les a sucedido 😢😢 , gracias por ser tan positivos ! Son grandiosos!!!
You have an amazing country!
Security Film, damn, never thought about that. Thanks for the tip! Good luck and thanks……Happy Sailing. Mario in Oz
Yeah I would definitely get outta that spot if I were you..blessings I'm happy, and y'all are ok..🙂🙏🙏🙏❤️💥💯
Since we were persecuted and teased by young people in Australia, we have only stayed in very good residential areas there at 11 p.m. and in the morning between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Take care of yourself❤
