Thank you great sage for the flames of inspiration, and then reassuring my melancholic coals with your gentle direct breath, and the ashes you left for the morning, awaiting fresh kindling. And now there's a mighty clap of thunder, right on time. Sail well, dear man. Brother.

Holy Cow! And to top it off, those folks that entered the stage at the end included Perla Batalla. The only missing piece was Julie Christensen. What a classy guy!

Ohhhhh... I wish I had been able to see this. I have only been able to see L.C. once, and that was in my home town of San Diego... where performers come to take a nap. Seriously... don't even think about coming here to see a show. I hate L.A.- but go there. The crowds and the venues are SOOOOOO much better. Saw Dylan in S.D. and it was boring. Saw him at the Hollywood Bowl twice and he blew the doors off the place both times.
The last part here where Cohen thanks everyone for paying attention to him over the years reminded me of his opening monologue when I saw him in S.D. at Humphreys- he started going on profusely about how he was so thankful, so grateful, so gratified.... that Mororola welcomed him to San Diego. We all said "hunh?" and then someone in the audience turned their head to the back, and we all followed him, and there was this RIDICULOUSLY large and distracting sign that said: MOTOROLA WELCOMES LEONARD COHEN. Absolute trash hack crap. And the poor guy had to look towards that the entire concert. If we had had enough collective balls, we would have gone up to the balcony and tore it down, just to save some dignity. But it's San Diego, and sorry folks, but I've lived in San Francisco... we're long past the boundaries of collective dignity. If you're not from L.A. (In which case F you) and you want to truck with that, feel free to message me.

    Leonard Cohen
    21.09.1934-07.09.2016
Listened to this in remembrance of the late Leonard Cohen yesterday on the 4th Anniversary of his passing.
    It reduced me to tears.
This may have been his last concert and final ‘live’ encore but not his last encore. The Maestros poetry, melody and verse will be called upon as far into the future, for as long as the future exists.
Departed in the flesh, forever in our hearts.

Bravo!! Magnificent performance by all! Great video. Thanks so much for sharing it. What a pleasure for a completely devoted fan of this master singer/songwriter/performer/human being. His talent slays me; his humility is an inspiration. Baruch Hashem for LC.

To think the last song he sang publicily was "Save the Last Dance for Me"
That seems something so perfect words shouldn't be able to describe it.
