I was a kid through the 70's into the 80's so I was able to experience both and then brought my own kid to Chuck E Cheese all the time as he grew up (he's a teenager now), this was more than amazing to watch, so awesome! Thank you for sharing, how did he acquire all this stuff?! He has SO MUCH memorabilia and I couldn't believe all those animatronics work just like the old days, unbelievable and so awesome.
Well after 15 years now they have all come from an assortment of places. The Rockafire I bought directly from the Creator Aaron Fechter in Orlando. The King and Beagles came from Oklahoma. Most of the Chuck E Cheese group came from California. A few other assorted pieces from Texas. So I've been all over the country just about to get these guys all assembled and in one building. Most of the memorabilia are ebay finds.... with a few flea markets mixed in..
The animatronics used to scare the bejesus out of me when I was a kid. I remember those holes under the stage. They were like a tube maze under there. I remember when you were under there you could hear the animatronics moving and it was so load. Made them even more scary lol.
I was a child of the of the 80's very familiar with Chuckie Cheese I grew up ( and still am in the San Francisco Bay Area) Chuckie Cheese was started here. We had several different Chuckie Cheese's, Not familiar With Showtime Pizza, as we had none. I went to so many Birthday party's at the Redwood City, CA, location. I remember loving the tunnels under the animatronics. Good Memoires watching this.
You know I never experienced the rock afire explosion band, but if I ever visit Smitty's Super Service Station, I'll be sure to tell the owner thank you
I'm from Fairfield, California (the home of the "Jelly Belly" jelly bean factory). We used to have a pretty awesome Chuck E' Cheese here in town. I personally think that when they started getting rid of the animatronics that Chuck E' Cheese lost alot of the fun. We used to have three rooms. One room had the main stage show, one room had a piano playing hippopotamus and the third room was the arcade. Then the arcade took over and started to slowly get rid of the animatronics (starting with the hippo) until it became completely arcade. It's been closed for nearly a year now but I don't miss the arcade. I miss our original stage show animatronics. It does a heart good to see that someone's taking good care of the dear and beloved friends from the original stage shows. I only wish that the original Chuck E' Cheese (without the arcade) would come back.
Thank you! I agree without the animatronics then they are just a regular pizza place without anything unique. The characters will always live on with the fans! I'm not the only one
Neat- I discovered this channel through your Rock-a-fire factory visit, so this kind of brings me back. The character design on these guys really is sheer terror. No wonder FNAF is a thing- the scariest parts of the face designs are very similar!

If you're still in Indy, I've got a private Rockafire setup in pendleton 😁
I'm so glad this guy saved all these things so they didn't come back to life and start offing everyone like a 80's horror film.
Ya
This is a magical place filled with memories and history.😮
Very cool collection! As animatronics like that remain in popular culture either as horror or fun a museum like that will remain important.
I was laughing my ass of at the animatronics fighting with eachother I love them I want to see them!
I remember the flags would be all around the showroom and would wave in unison.
Redwood city?! Are you serious?! Some of my Chuck bots came from that location!!!!!!
@@SmittysSuperService Yes I’m serious. I was also born in Redwood City.
7:10 THE CHUCK E CHEESE PART OF THE SHOW
Unreal, i remember this stuff when i was toddler. thanks for walk down memory lane.
Wow that was so cool seeing the Show Biz animatronics. That's from my time.
Wow this was so cool! Thanks for sharing your experience. They are so well taken care of.
15:10 BILLY BOB THAT IS THE MOST NASTYEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD!
This is more interesting and unique than the actual Chuck E Cheese locations today.
You know I never experienced the rock afire explosion band, but if I ever visit Smitty's Super Service Station, I'll be sure to tell the owner thank you
Brought back so many memories. My brother and I spent a summer playing games. Thanks for sharing
Amazing job saving both systems and keeping them in working condition. Thank you for sharing with us.
It’s nice to know these pieces of animatronic history are in good hands, and will continue to preform for hopefully many years to come.
Thank you. Its a labor of love to keep these guys going. Glad to know others appreciate it
That custom rockafire explosion show tape is amazing
I'm 46 and I remember seeing all of those characters perform at Chuck E Cheese as a child! I remember the flag waving and the animal legs clapping. This is really fun to watch.
YOU Ma'am had a great childhood ;)
