And right in that scene I could literally see that Rue was embarrased when she saw jules had scene her at her worst . That was acting right .. by Zendaya right . It was so real . My love for Zendaya has doubled.
as someone who has experienced withdrawal more times than i can remember, zendaya did an EXCELLENT job of portraying, not only the mental state, but the physical state in which your body begins to breakdown. the body aches, the sweats, the uncontrollable yawns, the nausea. she does it all. and the writers did an amazing job at showing the sometimes unforgivable lengths someone will go through to avoid those withdrawals. i loved the show before, but the respect i have for it after this episode is immense.
Zendaya definitely needs/ deserves another Emmy for her role in episode 5 because she truly embodied how hard life is as a drug addict. She truly has stepped her game up even more as an actress & it’s just so exciting to watch her keep on growing more and more.

Omg when rue spilled abt nate and cassie sheee-
My God, this cast needs to be together forever. I felt every single emotion from every character from the laughs to the trauma. Bravo everyone!
The performance of Zendaya is absolutely outstanding. What a woman...
The actresses playing the mother and Gia were also amazing
After going through my own experience of depression and anxiety, this hits so close to home. It's tough when you're in it, hard to see what you're really doing. Who you're hurting etc. People think oh you'll get over it. Oh it's your in your head. Such an extreme understatement.
I hope that this opens rues eyes to the consequences of her actions and gets help.
She truly has stepped her game up even more as an actress & it’s just so exciting to watch her keep on growing more and more.
at the start when she said i miss dad that made me tear up the whole episode gave me chills and the acting is amazing
sis got herself another emmy with this one
Really wish Storm had more screen time this season. Her character and story is just as important as Rues.
I get heavily affected by TV shows and movies and feel deeply for fictional characters (and yes I need to touch grass) so I'm glad they make behind the scenes videos like this to assure me that they're just actors 🤣
' Bakugo, touch some grass. '
🤎💜
We all do bro.. me too but it's just acting 😁
i love the way they talk about their characters as loved ones instead of just roles theyre made to play. brings a different element and feeling towards the show not only for them but for the audience too
Zendaya's acting is ridiculously good, that opening scene where she is fighting with her family is incredibly accurate. I had to pause for a moment because of my own trauma and remind myself it was just a show, it's genuinely crazy how great the cast is at acting. Absolutely love them and the writers 🙌🏽
I set down to watch this episode during breakfast. dont know what i was thinking. never cried my eyes out while eating eggs before. phenomenal acting from zendeya. I cried during the first 20 minutes non stop...one of the best episodes of euphoria yet.
I am not okayy the whole episode destroyed me!! 😭 the relationships Rue ruined this episode…
ok wait, they were faded to ruin, she just, give it a lil bump XD
To say that this episode was intense would be an understatement
Zendaya, Sydney, and Nika should all be nominated for an Emmy for this
jules’ “we flushed them down the toilet” literally stopped my heart
best episode out of ALL in the entire show
zendaya’s acting is so amazing, it’s so real i love her
the first 10 min was just too realistic.
I wanna hear Laurie's actress speak in real life, her voice is so calming even though shes dangerous
Zendaya did a great job in tonight episode
This was the most stressful and heartbreaking episode of any series I've ever seen. The level of realism was something I've never seen on television. And Zendaya's performance genius. What an acting monster. The best actress of her generation, I have no doubt 👏
Even the scene between the Rue’s mom and sister looking for her are so true in its simplicity. It’s like that mom is me with my kids.
The opening scene made me cry. Seeing someone suffer from addiction is heartbreaking it just felt so real and familiar
