@@FlyYogi You can do that, but Celeste Taylor was the top defensive player, or one of the very top, anyway, and she was Released, for God Knows Why, other than the Blatant Stupidity of Fever GM Lin Dunn and Head Coach, Christy Sides, who, word is drafted Taylor to keep Benched lest she get hurt and be useless for some Super Trade Dream that Gm Dunn came up with to build a Super Unbeatable Team. Lexie Hull and Grace Berger were Lab Rats for Dunn & Sides, but they had to Play Lexie Hull and she's too good to bench again, without Open Revolt would be the outcome, if they tried it.....Sadly Berger is still Riding The Pine until Further Notice.
Understand one thing, I ADORE Kate Martin, Always have(Hers was the first name I learned after Caitlin's, Years Ago) and if the Fever wasn't such a Petrie Dish of all sorts of Dysfunction mixed into one Toxic Stew,. I'd love to see CC & Kate running the court together, but It's like having 2 children, and when one gets sick, you don't want the other one to sicken too.
It's time Kate got a little time "Out There On Her Own" without Caitlin's shadow, that she played under for 4 years. Let her get her legs firmly under her, and after a season or two, maybe the Basketball Deities will bring them together again. In all truth, I'd love to have Kate watching Caitlin's Back, a role she performed "Quietly" but effectively at Iowa, but it's not happening. Not Yet anyway.
@@dwightcurrie8316 CT's game didn't translate well in the W. That's why she was let go. If you watched her try to cover CC in the game her new team tried to use her against the Fever you'll remember how CC embarrassed her. Of course, CC has embarrassed most of her defenders since before puberty! Nevertheless CT is not the defender she was in college! Perhaps that's why I wanted Kate instead of her. Kate is an overall much better player than CT. I stand by my assessment and understand your point of view. I just disagree with your assumption.

There is no rivalry on clark against reese, the rivalry is all Reese induced who keeps bringing things up from the past.
Clark keeps moving on, in games and does great...Reese struggles to keep up scoring and shooting 3s and getting assists. She is sooo jealous.
Rebounds is all she brings to the table man. And they aren't counted as points for the team..only stat padding.
With Reese out the team will be more like a team and do better. Reese being out will benefit the team. She isn't their best player. Wouldn't make playoffs with or without her.
