Hi, Gola ganda is basically crushed ice with different kinds of sweetened syrups layered on top, it's quite good actually but I won't really recommend you guys having it as it might upset your stomach cz the ice isn't always hygienic, even though we locals are used to having it, it still gets our stomachs too sometimes lol so have it at your own risk i'd say and the same goes for other street food as well. If you really want to find out that if they want you to the pay the bill or not then at least try to offer them 3 times, basically in Pakistan there's a culture of refusing to take money for anything for showing the kindness to any guest, offer them money 3 times at least and if they even refused to take the money 3rd time then they genuinely don't want you to pay... usually they will take the money 3rd time... its just the culture thing and a way of being respectful.
You should learn about Pakistani culture. You should pay for your stuff. You need to insist on paying. Out of politeness, they refuse the payment but you have to insist on paying. You have money to travel the word. Don’t exploit people in Pakistan for views. The only reason why Pakistanis will not say this to you because they want to be polite. Don’t you think that the people selling stuff have to make a living?
