- 🇵🇰 I'm terrible at food vlogs, which is why I don't typically make them. I leave that to my buddy @dailymax24. But this is my all-time favorite Pakistani food, and so of course I had to make a video about it. Chicken karahi is such a simple dish, using basically no masala, just chicken, oil, salt, peppers, and tomato but it really encompasses everything that Pakistani food is about. I love it's simplicity but at the same time super unique flavor. Hope you enjoy.

We have a Pakistani restaurant here in Silver Spring, Maryland. When you are back to the US and craving for Karahi, come visit! The restaurant's name is Kabob and Karahi. I know so well how delicious the Karahi tastes. Love love the ginger and tomatoe sauce! Simply the best tasting dish!

Chris: great stop in Peshawar for Karahi! What's great is they cook it fresh for you & it takes most one hour. This type of Karahi is Shinwari-style with the tomatoes! In Peshawar there are so many great restaurants & street food vendors catering to the locals, near the old
city gates. At 1600rs($9US) that was a great price for your Neal I⭐ It must have been early in the evening because there were no other diners at the restaurant 🤔 I've eaten passable Pakistani Karahi in the USA in NYC & Philadelphia, nothing like in Pakistan🇵🇰👍

@Daily Max I had lived in Peshawar for three years back in 1980s but didn't learn the Pashto language. You guys are amazing. I had a colleague from Chitral area and he was just like you two in physical appearance. Your Urdu has become more fluent in just few weeks. wow
Peshawar is the most underrated city of Pakistan but Impressed by their metro bus system.Also if u get a chance do visit the old city reserved area where they have preserved hundreds year old houses and streets called sathi mohala.And do visit the bara or karkhanoo markets where you will even find everything imported but tax free .

We really had a tough while so called war and terror start basically that was started to destroy my beloved country Pakistan through their allies Peshawar was most effected due to that war we lost our economy lost more then 85000 people due to so called war against terror. Now thanks God my country Pakistan coming back to normal.

Oh yes, Chicken / Mutton / beef / prawns karahi is out of this world. Eaten with piping hot freshly baked Naan from the tandoor is heaven. And since it’s cooked right in front of you, you can tell them how spicy 🌶 you want it, or without any at all.

So I was studying for my kinesiology exam and I ended up watching all your videos. I haven’t been to PK in 11 years and I’m finally going this summer (2022). I’m actually Pathan and it was funny that everyone thought that Max was Pathan. I was laughing because you can hear people talk even the security guard at the train station asked if you know Pashto. Your videos and experience is so genuine and it truly shows how Pakistan really is. I hope you guys had a blast and so glad you learned Urdu.
