LOVE the video, and thank you! The primary shot is beautiful, and the advice is great!
Just a quick note to people: If you go, and build a cairn to photograph, make sure you don't leave it. People leave them all the time, but cairns are supposed to be used as trail markers. Unfortunately, the marking cairns get lost amongst the ones that tourists build.
Tourists aren't trying to be disrespectful, and even trying to leave an homage, but the cairns they leave wind up being problematic.
Yes! I loved it! I felt like I was there with Mark and Lex! More Mark Wallace videos please! We can't get enough!
I amb just learning photo from your videos Mark and I feel so happy and proud to see that you shot some episodes in my country. Greetings.

Great trip, good advices,Mark and Adorama. are you up to waynapichu also? very nice view also.
I didn't go to Waynapichu. I was too tired. :)
Mark and Lexi are awesome :D
Thanks Mark. But I have a question - and perhaps it's been asked before. How exactly would the authorities know you were shooting video out of your 5D?
Nice video! I'm just curious, are there any filters used? I really like this kind of photography and I'm trying it out myself.. that's why I've got the curiosity :D
I didn't use any filters on these shots.
Which parts are you not allowed to use a tripod mark?
Wow, everything is so sharp. Did you use focus stacking Mark?
No, just normal focusing and some sharpening in LR.
Thanks, great information.
The contest link isn't working for me! I'm getting a message saying "Service Unavailable"
Andy Moran Sorry about that! Here's the link to our latest contest, which can also be found in the description section of the video: facebook.com/Adorama
Good luck!
What is the reason to ban video filming but allow still pictures?
you can shoot video too. You just need permission when you are filming for commercial purposes

Aha, makes sense. Thanks
I think they don't want a lot of tripods. They didn't like us using tripods for stills either.
***** They do say no tripods
Always love your work Mark....BUT....less use of the word AWESOME would be......well....AWESOME !! ;-)
it also helps to go with like minded people... I went to Iceland once, I wanted to throw the woman I went with into the nearest Volcano- active or not. I mean this way you can concentrate on getting the shot and moving on to enjoy the rest of the sites.,
