You're knocking it out of the park with these interviews. Another banger Paddy nice one sir 🎉🎉
It starts with learning the language. The rest follows naturally from that. Great interview! Great interviewer! Great interviewee! Wow!
Sounds like my Thai wife. We first lived in Bangkok 5 years together before moving to Sweden 29 years ago. I want to retire in Thailand but she will never move back there. We visit relatives in ChiangRai once or twice per year. That’s enough she says!? She also has her own business that pays for a comfortable life here. She also refere to the lack of openness in Thailand as the main reason. And we have two grown up sons that have good lives here. Both of them are dual citizens and spent a few years in Thailand to explore the possibilities there, both opted to stay in Sweden
So wholesome, so sweet. I love her copenhagen dialect! Will be sure to check out her place the next time im in the city 😊
Very intelligent and hard working woman. Deserves all the success.
She is a shining star! Trilingual!!!
Many people is
@@OrihuelaClubDeAlterne so does that mean she is not special?
As a Norwegian I 'd say her Danish sound just like a native Dane 🙏
As a dane i can confirm that she doesnt sound like a naive but just speaks like many other thai's in copenhagen...
@@MasterPiece-rg7ed Correct. She does not sound like a native. But not bad overall.
@@MasterPiece-rg7ed I stand corrected 🙏
What a great interview! It's so true what k. Ranee said about learning the local language as this is the foundation of integrating into the culture of the country. I do wish the foreigners that live here in Thailand would follow her example and learn the language.
Brilliant Interview!. I m from North eastern Thailand like her. I feel the same way as i don't feel I can fit in with Thai ways of thinking and culture anymore. You cant say something, you are forced to say only nice things in particular topics, to particular group of people, you have to be a people pleaser even you think differently deep inside you.
If you don't, your life won't go far. Very happy living in Australia atm, more open-minded society. Of course not everyone is open-minded or good like everywhere else in the world but it doesn't affect me at all as i choose not to worry about them, just focus on good people and your own positivity. I find that Many people here are taking things for granted because they don't grow up in a disadvantaged background in country like Thailand where the struggle is a lot harsher. For me, Australia is the land of opportunities, you just need to work hard , be smart on how you live and spend, show your capabilities, skills, good ethic, honesty to people who you work for and work with. Then, opportunities will arise . You definitely can move up your social status easier than living in Thailand. Social structure is fairer and a lot less corruptions. Nowhere is perfect either Australia or Thailand. Life is short and you choose to live where you can fit in and enjoy your lifestyle the most. Thailand also has many good things and i may go back to live in Thailand again to fullfill my responsibilities in the future but for now i love where I live. 😊
Welcome to Denmark, Paddy ! Years ago I have eaten at Ranees with fellow Thai language students and our teacher Khruu Malika. Enjoy your stay in CPH.
Already left actually! Was there for 2 weeks and had an absolute ball. So glad that you have been to Ranee's before
This was brilliant
My Thai mother is the opposite. She wants to return to Thailand after nearly 30 years, but then again we live in Canada which has become kind of an awful place to live (increased prices everywhere, competitive housing and jobs, and crimes have also been worsening).
And drugs in Vancouver. Zombie city.
Denmark has also become and awful place to live.
Thats why there are so many who moves from denmark..
Thailand is a great place to live if you have money.
Canada is turning into a great place to be from. Winnipegger
Canada is a barrel rolling down a hill while on fire right now
I have lived half my life here in Thailand....however, I have never met a Thai living in the west that wants to return to thailand to live.
It is different. You are granted with the right for freedom of speech the day you were born. While Thai people have to be careful of what they say in public, until they secure citizenship in a western country. Thai culture, like many Asian cultures, is authoritarian.
Because usually poor people became immigrants, of course in Denmark they have more opportunities.
@@maximb7225 Yes, that's exactly the main reason for most Thai immigrants in western countries. Even if the taxes are high, they would likely find it more convenient and organized along with better quality of life than their homeland
I am a Pakistani-Australian and I live in Pakistan with my beautiful Thai wife. She didn't marry me to live in Australia but married me because of who I am. The moral of the story is: Not All Thai Women Are Gold Diggers 😂
Major respect to that lady, Gotta go get her food one day...
incredible story! thank you for giving us this interview! :)
Learning the language always opens many doors in any country. Great video Paddy. A nice lady.
really great Series in Europe, keep it up !
Woo..I am from Singapore and I goes to Nakhon Phanom, in a village call Laem Thong every years. I speak fluent Thai too.
Have a god-grandson over there.
Sponsor him in his study at the Rangsit University in Bangkok.
Sawatdi Khrup 🙏 Nice interview.
I would like you to interview my sister in Iceland she also successfully achieved her dreams in her Thai restaurant business. Now all of siblings are in Iceland helping her business.
The name of her restaurant is Kris Thai that well known for tourists and locals
Would have loved to but unfortunately I won’t be getting to Iceland on this particular trip!
What she's also saying is Thailand is a wonderful place for people who want to start a small restaurant because there's so little paperwork you just start your business and in that way I think the Thailand government is wonderful
Imagine the competition!
@@aniwee17 no need to imagine. you see it everywhere. healthy competition is good.
Wow, she’s very sensible and very adaptive. I wish I could visit her restaurant one day.
คุ็ฌ Paddy งานดีมากๆ เริ่ดมากครับเหมื่อนเดิม graciasss😊😍
ขอบคุณที่ชมครับ 🙏
Great interview 👍 I clearly cannot relate to her as a farang married to a Thai who loves Thailand and wants to move there. Thailand is the greatest country I've ever been.
Very cute and delightful video. This lady is a real gem of a person. Spunky, kind and likes a good laugh.
2:18 Damn that's a perfect ouayy
You know you're good at speaking Thai, when you can exclaim in Thai like that xD
mate you are a great interviewer and your subjects are good too. I am also impressed at your knowledge of thai, you don't have to ask her to repeat anything!
This entire series of European videos has been spectacular. Well done. Glad you were able to seamlessly work content into a pretty amazing personal vacation 🙂
Means a lot Shawn! So glad you've been enjoying this series
Cool! Continue over the bridge to Malmö, Sweden and I will meet up for a beer or coffee :) I am still irritated that I missed your get-together in Sukhumvit soi 11 a few years back.
Would have loved to but I’ve already been and gone! I spent about 2 weeks there. Thanks a heap though!
@@ThaiTalkwithPaddy Aww, next time in Thailand, then! Thanks for a great channel.
Wise woman with a smile to match.
Very handsome with new haircut Paddy.😀
Just a thought but when you're interviewing folk it may be good if they provide their Thai answers just a little slower than the breakneck speed answers are sometimes provided.
I can normally understand most of your Thai, because your delivery understands the capability of your audience.😉
What a personality she has! I feel a bit smitten 😅😊 she's lovely! And the food looks great!
Let’s order some food from the restaurant 🤩
Definitely visit if you’re in Copenhagen!
This is what lot of Thais have been saying for years that once they are gone they are gone forever from Thailand, I wonder why her perspective is very shocking to most westerners who moved to Thailand and found that Thai people have been calling Thailand hell on earth or purgatory.
Another interesting interview. How did you discover her?
what a coincidence , im eating there later today 😂
So interesting
Hi hi 😂555 welcome to Frb Forun station and Nørrebro Daddy 😊 so for the next time in Copenhagen… hugs from the french guy 🏉
I'm a Danish American married to a Thai woman and living in southern California. When it gets below 78F (25C), she can barely stand it. I honestly think she would die in Denmark!
Bro can speak way better Thai than me damn respect 🍻🤣
I wish my dad was like this 🤣 but he can’t get out of England and back to Thailand fast enough
I wish all immigrants to Western countries were like her. Such a lovely lady.
She migrated to Iceland since 1986
Ohh She devorced 😢
Cheer from Thailand 🙏🥳🇹🇭🪷🌳🎉
พี่เก่งภาษาเดนนิส มากๆ ทำให้หนู อยากไปเที่ยว เดนมาร์ก ด้วยคะ
Was wondering if you are coming to Gothenburg, sweden?
Couldn’t make it this trip unfortunately! Would have loved to though
If you will talk about right-wing topics in Denmark soon you will be fired from your work place as minimum. So lady is not right at all. In Europe is more freedom of speech but it is not big gap from Thailand.
Welcome to Denmark ❤
How long you gonna stay here?
Already left actually! Was there for 2 weeks ! Had such a good time
She has an established business no need to come back.
I wish to visit that restaurant, someone tell me the adress, plesse. Terje from. Norway

What’s an Au Pair?
A nanny
It was a good interview but let's be honest, if she hadn't met and relied on a Danish man to marry and move her she wouldn't be where she is today.
Immigration legally to any western country is difficult for most people; marriage is the quickest.
Got her passport and dumped the farang
Farang buffaloes
Stero typing people, such a small person!!
