This one is actually from 1990, due to it having the newer ''90's casterwheels , and the weirdly shaped sealed, fitted plug, and no serial number ( introduced in 1991).
The machine on the box is a HVC indeed. The HVC didnt have the 1000w motor but the Rewind HVR came out in around 87 with the new 1000w motor, judging by the plug and front castors, this one seems to be in around 1989. Weird about the Kitemark as HVCs had them
Agreed, the 1000W and rewind came out at the same time in '87 on the HVR. Also the date of '89/'90 because of the plug and the filter? I'm sure the earlier ones still used the twin rubber seal filters, and probably used the red (Filtrex) one on the red Henry, the beige Henry used the white (Permatex) filter. Really nice Henry, Steve! Lovely to see the box in such remarkable condition. I have a CT375 from silmilar era, it also has a Lynx delivery sticker (I remember the lorries from when I was a kid), the serial number, as Adam mentioned, wasn't printed on machines until about '91. Instead I think the serial and a date was printed on the Warranty card that came with the vac.
@@mrxr2 In 89,they switched to the castors without the dimple and started using that more triangular Volex plug. The twinseals were gone by then I think. All my 88 Henries ahd red or white twinseal filters but the 89/90 ones had the normal plastic rim one, like that 1990 Cream henry I have which use to be yours lol
@@TheVintageApplianceEmporium yeah it' in such good condition and has it's original box usually these old Henrys are battered and never come in their original box

I love the plug on that! Very boxy
Serial numbers came in around 1991,only way to date these precisely is to get the 6 digit code off the motor
Neat find!
WOAH!! Very rare i remember when these were still being sold on ebay!!!1

@@a.a674 Yep agreed, as the Nuvac used the "floppy" plastic filter and my later beige Henry has one too. (By earlier I meant the earlier HVR 87-88).
So cool 😎

I find vintage numatics very disturbing
Why is that?
The box just has a picture of Henry and the motor is very unhealty
@@bluesteamiestudios5395 i mean the old 70s numatic car vac is a tad creepy.. But your PFP is worse
