Thanks for a great video on these range finding binoculars, I am about to purchase my first set and was leaning towards zeiss but will have to check out the leica as well. Also have considered the sig BDX as they are a lot less expensive but feel the glass is not great with them.....
Mike, I've had the Leica Geovid HD-B 3000 for about a year now and I've really liked it. Both the glass quality and range finding ability surpassed my expectations. I've measured just over 2700 m with it. What I do not like are the front lens covers. They do not stay on. Davin, thanks for a nice video.
Have you found any difference in ability to get ranges on animals like deer out to 2000? To me the zeiss look slightly better but the rangefinder in the leica looks slightly better (I like how the leica flashes the ranging box a few times so you can know where you are ranging. The display in the zeiss looks less bright as well
I had the Zeus’s during an all hunt at about freezing temperatures and I had a very hard time getting ranges. The Leica is a better rangefinder in my opinion. I have used the vortex fury HDB and those have an excellent range finder. Glass is not as high of quality. The trouble with ranging anything at that distance is that it is easy to get ranges from other things around the animal.

@@devinporter1676 Thanks for the reply and awesome video. Best on the internet. Cheers
What tripod mount are you using?
Manfrotto head, but it is not mounted to an adapter. It is just sitting in the video tripod head.
