I loved Dong Hua and Bai fengjiu’s story in this drama but the cherry on the cake was The Pillow Book... their story was really amazing!! They did such an amazing job! The music, story, the sound effects and the actors really proffesional
People criticize her for being immature, obsessive and clingy, but once he admits he loved her too she let go without letting go. That moment of his confession was enough for her to live the rest of her life. She understood the wisdom of not stalking him that isn’t love. She had her responsibilities and he has his, they are more important especially if your happiness comes at the expense of hurting others.
The scenes in episodes 53 and 57 break my heart. Dong Hua does love Feng Jiu but he can't bring himself to defy the fate. His sad smile after he confessed that he could've loved her & that going to the mortal realm was also to give himself a chance to be with her shows how much pain he feels.
They have a series where they are main leads called eternal love of dreams aka the pillow book. Same characters but different story line with a happy ending. I liked it but I prefer this story line under 10mopb which is much more serious.
Ten Miles of Peach Blossom and The Pillow Book are remarkable! Break my heart each time I watch it. Timeless and classic! Thanks director, producer and actors/actresses for your hard work to produce such a forgettable dramas! ❤
I just can't stop squealing.. Dong Hua and Bai Fengjui's romance... Although it was something else in eternal love of dream.. Dong Hua's character had developed so much especially after his second trial as Song Xuanren in the mortal realm...Even the way he loved and cared for Fengjui changed so much....(although these guys keep saving each other and sacrificing themselves for the other from eternal love to the pillow book)Bai Fengjui, Ji'uer, Xiaojui to finally xiaobai
Vengo's acting as dijun is superb..no other actor can replaced him..vengo n dilraba is the best couple in cdrama (for me)..lots of love from Malaysia ♥️♥️♥️
May I suggest that the petition would also be posted with social media pages and groups to achieve higher result. I hope there would be a part 2. I love this drama and currently re-watching it, can’t get over with it ❤️
For me the best was probably when she was crowned queen of Qing Qiu. He sent the gift with the hidden meaning that ofc she understood. She thanked him while he was watching. I could see how they both kinda once again let us see that their feelings for the other was still present, but they have decided to let go of what cannot be and keep on living without being together. Powerful. Beautiful. I was sobbing. I guess it’s not really romantic. For me it just felt romantic. 😅
Don't get me wrong, I loved the fact that we got some sort of closure on Eternal Love of Dream, but when Ii saw it it was like something totally different, like an appeasing treat. There is just something about how the story between Donghua and Fenjiu was developed or unraveled on Eternal love Ten miles of Peach Blossoms that just makes me wish they made a drama with the exact same storyline as it went on in TMOPB instead and let us see how they manage to, at the further further end, end up together, maybe a mixture of both dramas, since at the end of Eternal Love of Dream they say that they shoul've never payed attention to the stone not having them together.
I just read the two books because of that dilemma, but it turned out that the eternal love of a dream series is based on the book "pillow book" and it turns out that this more dramatic story was not like that, the stone is rather the stone of destiny but It does not say the name of who you will marry and rather if the couple is destined to be together.
She looks fresher bec maybe she was also younger then, and has matured a bit in PB. She still looked beautiful, i think. But Donghua looked heaps better in PB. Like..woah.
I think it has to do with the eyebrow and makeup. Reba and even yangmi eyebrows were much sharper, longer and darker in TMOPB and that makeup matched the eyebrows well on their face. The eyebrows in PB were lighter and thicker.... This took some getting used to, they should have hired the same makeup artist!
I like how in Eternal Love of Dream they give more understanding on why he fell for her lol 1. Instead of always just wanting to be saved by him like all others, she is always looking to rescue him lol 2. She is very lively and naughty and spoiled little kid which he somehow likes 😂😂 3. She gorgeous of course lol 4. He’s always watching her and I guess he likes her personality also like how she can be childish at times but very serious and queenly when needed . 5. Her true form is a nine tailed fox 😂😂 aka a mammal and apparently mammals really interest him...Also Siming said that no one can ever resist her once they see her true form lol aka she’s so cute apparently and even when she gets in trouble she just gotta show her true form and she’ll be forgiven 😂😂.
In the Dream of Arranye, he said she’s beautiful (and will be more beautiful as she ages), her personality is perfect and she’s capable, in every way. He loves her personality, when she’s sweet and protective of him, when she’s naughty and argues with him and being lively, when she makes him sweets. And I love that he thinks she capable in every way, bc she does try her best, like trying to protect him from Miao Luo or training hard for the competition. Just so adorable how smitten he is with her in ELOD, and gets to be equally as naughty and shameless and protective.

Ten miles of peach blossom/Eternal love is another and a different story of love between Dijun and Fengjiu. What happened with them in Eternal love has no connection with what happened in Eternal love of dream. The writers decided to add the romantic and sad story between Dijun and Fengjiu in Eternal love, so they created a hole new story for them. In Eternal love of dream they based their love story in a book, so there’s no connection with Eternal love. Only the story of Bai Qian (Fengjiu’s aunt) has connection with Eternal love of dream, cause in ELOD she is getting married with Ye Hua (who doesn’t appears on the drama) something that she didn’t do in Eternal love. I hope that I could answered ur question :)

I think Donghua and Fengjiu are similar deep down. Both are highly independent, refuse to give up, and playful.
