I like the run, the bobber up the braid as well, and then a barrel swivel or in line weight as a stopping point to the leader that way you have your weak point to break off is the leader and not your whole set up
Yeah that’s my hopes of it does get snagged the leader will break also I run a super small duo lock as well so if the weight gets snagged it will bend out

You use a 2oz. Bobber with 3 oz. Weight? Must still float it?
Tip, run a large Corky of a different color above your bobber and below the bead, when the corky sits on top of your bobber you know your fishing!

Yeah it still floats I had 2oz but the 3 oz got me down a little bit! I actually do run the corki when im bobber dogging. Thanks so much for the information brotha i really appreaciate you watching!

What size are those Chinook? We catch 25 lb Salmon in Michigan and only use 20lb leader . Just curious 👍🏼
Generally on that River system 20 pound fish is fairly average and a lot of 30 pound fish being caught. With that being said 30lbs is over kill 20-30 fluro is what I run!
