Wait so a HPFP will add that much power? I'm currently adding mods slowly to my 540. About to install a catless downpipe but if the HPFP adds that much power I'm game to do that next lol
If you run E mix. You can get close to 500whp but thats it. That the max that can probably get with stock turbo. 470-480 whp is where you can expect. Anything above that you need upgraded turbo. If 93oct than fuel pump wont do much. Maybe 430?
@@tony.nextlevelrides Replacing the high-pressure pump alone will never result in 550 horsepower for the car. Currently, my vehicle has the HDP6 Supra pump, performance ignition coils, a downpipe, and an open exhaust system. The ECU is tuned to Stage 2, which delivers 440 horsepower and 671 Newton-meters of torque with the factory turbocharger.
I heard a loud clicking on your 540i similar to the one i have is it the injectors or the pump making the noise? Great video. 👍
both! the B58 is bloody loud and drives me nuts! I always think something is wrong but nothing is

How do u get multiple gauges on ur mhd app, mine only lets me do 2.
if you click "monitor" then "options" in the app, it should show "configure options" and "gauges layout".
@@tony.nextlevelrides preciate it twin
Normally you do not need this cable between because you can turn the connector easily...........
that's what I thought, this connector wouldn't budge for some reason.
@@tony.nextlevelrides a bit more force from 2 different angles and it popps out :)
To the crank or whp?
with e50 these are around 550hp to the crank. they typically do 460-490whp at this stage.

what’s the link to get the hpfp? i have a ‘17 540
it can be found on many different sites, depending on your location. you're just looking for the B58 TU / Supra pump.
When do you recommend to change your spark plugs on a stock 540
I would say around every 60-80k (km). you can always pull one when it's cold and inspect it before replacing them.
What about years if you do 5-6kkm a year only?
Lets go
what do u think 100-200?
not sure, I should test it this summer when I bring it out!
I have the same project in my bmw 540i g30 with TU hpfp and mhd map stage 2+ e40 100-200 8.0s@@tony.nextlevelrides
awesome, I'd be curious what they do. I think maybe high 8.
Algorithm brought me here
welcome! 🥳
Gen 1 will never make 550whp on a TU pump please don’t misinform people… smh.
I never said 550whp. It states 550hp, which would imply and has always reflected, to the motor.

@@magyarautovillszerviz you're right, however, it's not meant to be taken out of context. it's also explained in the video and its description.
@@tony.nextlevelrides ok, i just said. :)
@@magyarautovillszerviz The TU Pump gives the most gains when a nice ethanol mix is used which on the BM3 platform is known as Stage 2 Plus.
