Someone asked for an extended version. I delivered. It's basically an Ultimate Medley between the Cheetahmen II theme and the Cornered theme from Phoenix Wright.
It's amazing how they fit so well. =P
Phoenix Wright rans off...
....and now...
The Phoenix Wright

The miracle...
I think it's cool the theme I composed a long time ago, is still relevant today. Thank you everyone for the praises.
+zentanith If I may ask, how did cheetahmen II happen? And who wrote the story of the cheetahmen? Nice music, btw.
Cheetahmen II was taken on without me, but they already had all of my good ideas at that point and didn't need me. Thanks about the music, at least we got something right.
If you could, would you continue the story of the cheetahmen?
epic
ever considered giving people freedom to use that catchy song for official games??
I am the composer and all I ever got paid was $500 as a retainer and I was supposed to get $500 per game once they sold a certain amount. Never saw another red cent. Didn't help that me and Vince Perri kinda had it out too, but that's about Bubblegum Rosy and another story.
zentanith OH MAH GOSH ZENANITH YOU WERE ACTUALLY THE COMPOSER OF THE CHEETAHMEN THEME?
Edit: whoops forgot a t
*HOW IN THE TATERTOT SUNDAY AM I FINDING YOUR COMMENT NOW AFTER 9 YEARS?!*
the weird part is that they sound really good together
Same. And now this can actually Happen thanks to SiivaGunner's "King for Another Day Tournament." You'll know why in due time. ;)
@@blockeontheleafeon bro i would be mad if they dident
@@cubeman9766 guess what they didn't do. Missed opportunity.
Many missed opportunities overall tbh
@@krankees because it was Momokuma and Phoenix Wright
During the game you will have three attorneys a different one every second trial to fight for you
So basically Dual Destinies.
holy shit nice find.
2 levels per cheetahs 2 level per enemies attorney.
I knew I wasn't the only one who thought these two themes were similar.
Yeah mean either
HOLD IT!
*slams table*
Your Honour,
Is this what we called *Turnabout Cheetahmen*?
"Apollo" Justice: Tigers and Tribulations
*cheetahs
"Fitting well" is an understatement. As far as I can hear, no alteration to tempo or key was made. Nothing was cut out or lengthened. The chords fit perfectly in key and length.
The only difference is the actual melody. Aside from that they are exactly the same song! And listened side by side they still sound unique! Amazing conicidence or an amazing, unobvious remix!
Maybe someone working on PW games was fan of Cheetahmen and put it in as homage of sorts?
@@UltimatePerfection I think it could have been a strange coincidence, Action 52 and Cheetahmen II(Which was unreleased basically) both were only in the States. Phoenix Wright was originally Japan only and only some years later they released it to the West.
@@presidentforlife1732 I don't really think it can be a coincidence. The two melodies are just too similar. Legally distinct, yeah, but too similar. PW composer must have been into weird American bootlegs or came across the tune some another way (a friend who's into weird American bootlegs?). In any case, I really can't blame him/her for borrowing it, A52 has some kickass music.
@@UltimatePerfection that's the point. Both were hard to come by, or nearly even impossible in their respective countries and a decade apart from eachother, yet they're almost the same with no really possible cross influence.
Very strange.
@@UltimatePerfection Very strange. Even if it was plagiarism, i would like to know how the Phoenix Wright composer knew about the Action 52 Cheetahmen tune.
Phoenix Wright: (to himself) "Alright! I've got nothing to lose! Except... Well, everything!"
*A yellow hand sets itself on Wright's shoulder. Wright looks back and sees three gigantic, yellow bodies. It's the Cheetahmen standing behind him.*
Hercules: "Don't worry, we will fight for you..."
*The Cheetahmen run off... And now... OBJECTION!!!*
I believe that the person who pulled the action gamemaster inside....
WAS YOU
Mind=Blown
Yup, still relevant
Cant wait for this to pop up in everyones recommendations.
Cheejection!!
That sounds dirty
_C H E E S Y_
Usually I'll accept something is just random coincidence. Music tends to have set tempos and speeds to which the majority of music conforms, there are a lot of songs that sound a lot like other songs. But this is sooooo close through the entire song it's hard to write it off.
But the thing is, the chorus of the songs are both at the same place. It's absolutely insane.
They both have the same opening riff and that consistent pedal point but they have different tempos and ace attorney has a more complex chord structure. PW may have been inspired by Cheetamen but it isn't a rip off by any means. Composers tend to pull music from everywhere without remembering where it came from.
***** This song is basically all chorus. It's not insane. They are two incredibly basic songs that happen to have a similar underlyimg bass riff but that's it.
I do agree myself, too, especially when you compare two vgms from two different games and turn out to sound similar (e.g Zero stage 2 from MMX5 and Lunatic Eyes from Touhou 8)
The Cheetahmen ran off
and now the chee-OBJECTION!
Phoenix:
Your honor, this intro makes NO SENSE!
Peppy: "You never know what a Cornered Cheetah might do."
Still listening to this absolute banger in 2024.
The cheetahmen ran off...
and now...
THE CHEETAHMEN!
We need a Slam Jam remix of this.
Now imagine being trapped in a corner by those three AND Pheonix Wright.......SHIT JUST GOT REAL.
Phoenix Wright 52, Action Ace Attorney, make it happen.
Apollo Wright: Action Attorney: Jaguar For All
52 cases in one! It's so cool! Buy it now!
Flash Kirby
Except every case is showing 1 piece of evidence, then the pixelated guy gives up ang goes home not guilty.
rustyvent Yes, but there's 52 of them!
Flash Kirby That's a bargain buy if you ask me.
Flash Kirby These advertisements are why I don't trust the number 52
Screw 52 games in one
Rather have 100000 in 1
My mind has just been blown.
Phoenix Men!
lol I was listening to smooth mcgrooves version of cornered and was like "man this song sounds like cheetahmen and he should do it" then I find this lol!!! Oh Capcom, how you gon steal from cheetahmen?
That's EXACTLY how I got here :P
Holy sh... you too?
Tei Yamasaki yay 2014
*TAKE THAT!* I got here from the original song's BRSTM on BrawlBRSTMs3's UA-cam channel!
very good two songs to mix. sounds wonderful!
mortal kombat + cheetahmen= phoenix wright
I'm starting to think that everyone in the videogame music industry just copies each other because there are a LOT of coincidences.
Even the iconic Mario theme sounds like something else
Maaan, these work nicely together.
@SupperTails66
Thanks. I liked what you made here, and decided it was worth extending. I'm sure some people enjoying listening to something for a really long time.
Phoenix Wright began to explain...he told the defendant of the cases in the court room. "Don't worry, I will fight for you."... Phoenix Wright took the stand...and now...Phoenix Wright.
This should be in the game...
There needs to be a Cheetahmen themed Phoenix Wright hack RIGHT NOW!!!!!
Phoenix just found out that the Action 51 game is an evidence that the Cheetahmen didn't murder anyone.
you mean Action 52?
Ben S Action 52, yes, my bad.
YashumGod Pi It's actually Action 0. No action whatsoever was found in that cartridge.
***** Good one
Kevin Yonathan OBJECTION! The Cheetahmen theme was found in the cart! That is some action right there!
And then... the Phoenix Wright...
Turnabout Cheetahmen
Nice! I actually noticed this in my head after watching Smooth McGroove's a capella version of this song.
so, this is meta being the first thing I thought hearing this theme mixed with the theme itself
The miracle never happen
Furio Tigre: Ace Attorney - Main Theme
Alternate universe where Ace Attorney failed horribly, Action 52 never existed, and Cheetahmen was a successful franchise
My mind is being blown so hard right now that I'm going to end up paying this video a lot of money when it's done.
SO DOPE
Cheejection.
Overruled!
@@danielpalacios155 *TAKE THAT!!*
If that ever happens, just remember that you're home free if you just remember to bump into them, or manage to trick them into jumping off of a floating square.
Cheetahmen: "OBJECTION!!!"
Everybody else: "OVERRULED!!!"
Who else felt like shouting “MORTAL KOMBAT!”
I might actually use this in a video, thank you!
This sounds nice
Typed it just for the reactions. Priceless. XD
Does this mean Phoenix was the Action Gamemaster?
OBJECTION! you say that you were able to completely beat ooze. However.... How did you beat it when there's an unavoidable glitch that won't allow you to complete one of the levels?!
Downloaded, fucking classic
Dr. Morbis...
You genetically altered these creatures!
but it sounds EPIC like this
Hey, sorry it took me four and a half months to notice this. I've never been big on listening to the same thing for fifteen minutes, but I guess if you like it you like it. Good job.
Why does this sound good.
Why wouldn't it?
i heard this in a flash game once and tried to find it, it was so simple.
no1important Goddamn Syobon Action on the android
0:13 Now all we need is a MORTAL KOMBAT!!! yell 🤣
2 people have played cheetahmen
So I'm not the only person who thougnt it XD You made the video: you're great.
@GamingCakes It'd be worse if they had Phoenix Wright standing there screaming "OBJECTION!" in your ear and shoving things in your face.
I'm thinking that maybe one of the composers of the Cheetahmen 2 theme worked on PW:AA, or they had that as an intentional Easter egg.
Look at the Cover: Made in America. And PW:AA is not American.
MrPathorn ohhhhhhhh
Well, *Apollo* Justice
MrPathorn Well maybe the guy moved?
Ben Eustis It's about 20 years apart he would have retired or not think about music he made 20 years ago.
You sir won a sub. And a cookie.
Michael Bay is directing the Cheetahmen movie!
A bad director directing a movie of a bad game.
Yeah, seems about right.
HOLY SH-
I SEE YOU EVERYWHERE!! SHSNAMAKHCJFMDKZIXFFFND
They actually fit...**adds Guile's theme** MWAHAHAHAHHAHAH
what's stopping the creator of the game from coming back and actually making a playable and awesome game to go with that theme? he could really cash in and make his dream come true of those action figures.
it already exist fan games that remade this awesomely
+ninja8tyu the creator actually has a YT account and all, look on this comment section for him.
"That space was not need" OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH this guy has NOOOOOOOOOO grammar.
WHY WOULD ANYONE DISLIKE THIS
TAKE THAT!
Careful, Cheetah Lawyers can smell Contradictions from 15 feet away.
Anyone know who composed the theme originally for Cheetahmen/Cheetahmen II?
And Now... THE CHEETAHMEN... will take the stand...
why does this work?! WHYYYYYYYYY????!!!
Listen at 0.5x speed
such a nice drug trip
+Schmuff hip hop song, drop the mike!
I'm liking 0.75x speed even more
Oh fuck.
Now if only someone would do a remake on the Cheetahmen then I would fucking love cheetahmen.
Especially if you're surrounded by flags, and trying to find that last mine...
I think I now know what I want Phoenix Wright's Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 theme to be.
*/OBJECTION!/*
YOU WILL HAVE TO SEE "THE REUNION" COMING TO KICKSTARTER IN THE FALL OF 2013
one of the cheetahs is named Apollo
like Apollo Justice
it's a conspiracy
Do these two themes actually have the same BPM, or did you need to edit them somewhat?
The Cheetahmen Theme is rearranged to match Cornered but in terms of BPM they're the same.
Cheetahman Ace Attrourney
You're welcome. *Bows*
It was only a Cheetah and an Attorney how did it end up like this
/it was only a cheetah/
/it was only an attorney/
/how could this happen to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee/
La demanda de Mario a Cat Mario
Don't you love how people will go into conspiracy theories about plagiarism and shit just because two songs sound kind of similar?
BECAUSE I FUCKING DO.
MORTAL KOMBAT!!
In this game, all the lawyers deal with adultery cases.
why adultery cases?
Jaguars for All
Tigers and Tribulations
Ace Cheeahttorney
and lets not forget:
APOLLO justice
I'd call my lawyer.
This makes the theme sound quite somber, to be honest.
Abogado Syobon, para servirle 😎
*Gyakuten Syobon/Action Attorney.*
With the original key/pitch.
Phoenix wright defended the innocent... And now... Phoenix Wright.
Dr. Morbis was clearly one of the dislikes. After all, The Cheetahmen are his failed expirements.
Lmao
@HollowDeath13
Since when are there lawyers in Cheetahmen 2?
One of the Cheetahmen was named Apollo...
Bad taste does not mean unexeptable taste, I exepted his opinion as, I don't have to agree with him because he just has an opinion and he did not say it as his opinion
"Ace Attorney and Cheeterman were crappy games"
Did you see a "I think Ace Attorney and Cheeterman were crappy games" no
Oh and that was nice from you "How about you Shut the fuck up" that shows respect of an opinion
Also I happen to not use the same grammar with the other comment, implying a joke
The Ahogemen (DanganRonpa reference)
