One of the best MCU movies out there.
For me I’d say
#1. Avengers
#2. Civil War
#3. Ragnarok
1. Winter Soldier
2. Iron Man 1
3. Thor: Ragnarok
4. The Avengers
5. Guardians of the Galaxy
#1. Spider-Man: Homecoming
#2. Ragnarok
2nd for me only to Guardians vol 1
1. Guardians of the Galaxy
2. Thor Ragnarok
3. maybe homecoming, though I'm hoping Black Panther replaces it
#1 Spider-Man: Homecoming
#2 Captain America: Winter Soldier
#3 Thor: Ragnarok
Loved the sakaar scenes. Jeff Goldblum was hilarious!!
Agree😄
When Dr. Malcolm escapes Jurassic World into another universe lol
@@chupiggy Pretty sure Owen came with him and became Star-Lord, but then they went their separate ways afterwards lol.
Hands down the best Marvel feature length movie.
Great setting, interesting plot, likeable characters, killer soundtrack, and the jokes are actually funny.
easily the best
The movie, music, had that Tron feel which I absolutely loved. The movie was fantastic.
1986beasty true about the tron thing I got the same feelings too.
arcotroll 80s baby !
Like a high tempo space tron
Yep
This movie definently wouldn't have been possible without GOTG, that movie opened up what a marvel movie could be and do.
This movie has probably the best soundtrack out of any superhero movie I've ever seen.
It sounds very comic bookish, in some strange way. It's very 90s video gamish (like the old XCOM), which brings this kind of nostalgic nerdiness to it, which translates beautifully to comic books as well. I just love it so much.
Tiia Mannix and then you see black panther
This is and a mix of Rush is exactly what I would expect a Jack Kirby Comic Book to sound like. With some Led Zeppelin thrown in for good measure.
ltmcna Black Panthers ost is shitty compared to Ragnarok
ORA ORA meh the Kendrick Lamar & the weeknd track along with opps from the rise tv spot are 🔥
So truee
Asgardian of The Galaxy
Assguardian?
@@druid3694 haven't you seen endgame?
1:12 just gets me everytime. What a brilliant movie. Easily top 5
I do not understand why many people disliked this movie
Thor Ragnarok is funny, epic and the scene of the Asgardian ship encountering Thanos ship was epic
to me its the army of darkness from the mcu its so disconected from the rest of the franchise (or the thor trilogy) and its very self aware of that, that it ended up being its own thing. except that army of darkness is part of the evil dead series and they are my favorite horror movies, ragnarok is part of the thor franchise and the first film was meh, and the second one was terrible (seriusly i accept anything weird and bizarre than anything related to katt dennigs), so ragnarok was prety much a lucky shot
Most people loved it to death, man. Me included of course
I think it was becuase of the fact that it was a comedy. Although i think it was done that way to harden the impact of infinity war. Going from the lighthearted tone of ragnarok, to the absolute demination of infinity war
It's not funny. For me the jokes are forced in to the point when the entire movie is interrupt with random silliness. It got predictable because whenever something emotional was happening, a joke would cut it off. I found most of the jokes unfunny, sometimes annoying.
Most people who disliked it r from DCU🤣🤣
This movie was one of the most unique Marvel films ever.
God I love that melody right at the beginning
This is a part of the main theme
What a beautiful soundtrack. Reminds of the good old Synthie Pop 80's. The sound elements starting at 1:12 min even remind of old Depeche Mode style 😁
It’s Mark Mothersbaugh from Devo!!
Post Civil War MCU movies have been outstanding.
Yeah, Marvel just keeps getting better and better.
Giancarlo Peñalba exactly
Phase 3 has been outstanding
Marvin Groß lmao endgame was spectacular and ffh was pretty good

JOSS WHEDON "THE MAN WHO DESTROYED JUSTICE LEAGUE "
Fantheory: he did it intentionally to ruin DCEU =))) and he succeed =))
Mark Mothersbaugh is a god to me when it comes to music. Such a clear style yet so malleable among everything he does.
Such a great time to be alive
Mark1 yep.
Who came here for the happier music after Infinity War lol
No, I come here for weed. (shaking)
hell yeah ...hahahaha
What u mean
The last movie before things got depressing
@@jokerjack9797 black panther?
This guy composed the Crash Bandicoot games, loving this.
Oh! That's why it sounds like Future Frenzy, from CB3
reeealy hmm makes sense
Yeah, he did Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, 3 and CTR (the PS1 originals, not the remakes). Other games he's composed for include: Jak and Daxter 1, 2, 3 and X, The Sims 2, The Simpsons Game, and more recently Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
@@gregoriomanzane6596 it actually does damn
He also did the music for Regular Show
Thor: Ragnarok is really greater than Endgame.
@Ricardo Moto They're actually the same version of Thor, just this one hasn't learned humility or suffered from true defeat yet. He doesn't learn that until after Infinity War.
debatable
the only thing that made endgame a bit worse was fat thor. Wouldnt say thor ragnarok is better than engame but thor in thor ragnarok is the best
I don't know, but are your thinkings
True
Rest in peace Loki
yeah.. about that..
It's complicated...
This has gotta be one of my favourite movie soundtracks. 80’s synth is a weird but welcome turn for something like that
The Best film of MCU!!!!
I love thor ragnarok.
And Valkyrie💙💙💙
1:27 is my favorite part of this track can't stop listening to it.
Harry Stefanopoulos ok that's some good info to know thanks for telling me !
Tripping balls off some m that part is good but what really sent my skyrocketing was 0:45 damn
Damian Starks , same me!!!💜💜😍😍😍😱😱😭😭😭
Taha 6 good to know we are on the same page !
Damian Starks , well, i think we are, but i just cant stop listening to this song, and to be honest with u, while u just replied me, even before that and till NOW, i was still listening to this song lol!🤣😂😂
Found it fitting that Thor: Ragnarok’s credits theme was 80s-ish as Infinity War took place right after Ragnarok’s mid-credits scene
And that he will soon be rescued by the Guardians who are jamming to a 70s album
MrGabenLand II you are dumb as fuck. What relation is there?
Geez Jager, triggered much?
@@solarcry287 He's not wrong though. There's no connection between the elements OP mentioned.
@@LordVader1094 Yeh but does that require the "f bomb"? I think not.
@@solarcry287 It is though. Also it's just called "fuck", not "ThE f BoMb".
Ragnarok's soundtracks sound like an old arcade game. AND IT'S FOCKIN LIT !
It sounds like something from a Genesis game to me. That system's sound hardware was practically MADE to make a song like this sound awesome.
And I'm disappointed that no one on UA-cam has made that version yet. Get on it, guys!
Definitely 80s.
@@narendramartosudarmo That's why I love marvel. They use a lot of 80s sounding soundtrack.
Trash. A Thor movie should sound like a Wardruna live show. A good Thor movie that is, not this crap.
Funny you should say that. The same composer actually worked on the original Crash Bandicoot games on PS1 (also the Jak and Daxter series, and more recently Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart).
Sounds like something you'd hear in an arcade. Fitting, considering Sakaar is a planet about games.
I loved the techno music in this movie
How does this movie have amazing emotional music but still have amazing techo music as well. Amazing!
Dang this music makes me want to see the movie again!
1:27 is so emotional
Came back after the newest what if episode
Which one did you watch before?
"What If… Iron Man Crashed into the Grandmaster?" or "What If… Hela found the Ten Rings?"
It's 3am and I just finished watching the film for the 2nd time today. Such an amazing film.
I watch it like 4 times a week if not 5
This film is rather like a 35-yrs-later Flash Gordon -- color palette, synth score, over-the-top action -- and that's one of the reasons I love it. Wonder if Waititi had it deliberately in mind. Same is generally true for Aquaman and Dark Phoenix, but to lesser extents.
Guardians of the Galaxy was also more or less influenced by Flash Gordon, too; even Tony calls Quill just that in Infinity War, looool.
Good old 80’s space adventure
marvel should start making movies with mark mothersbaugh
Yes. I dislike the soundtracks that sound like "wallpaper music". This isn't one.
I was really surprised in the cinema when this started playing. I'd never heard such a distinct score in a Marvel film.
LabradorIndependent the avengers theme is pretty unique
He's doing thor love and thunder with taika again he's pretty. Much keeping his same guys taika
Remember in the guardians of the galaxy v2 end credits, one of the people dancing was the grandmaster. I noticed that last time I saw that.
I like the ragnarok because of the scene when thor gone to planet sagar it was funny n epic 😂. It's one of my best film it's cool
Thor Ragnarok, the movie that brought me to the MCU. A cinematic legend indeed.
The best Thor movie, the best Marvel movie
*and the best Planet Hulk movie.*
you might wanna change ur mind after seeing spider-man no way home
Ooh yea, you should consider that
Wow a marvel movie with a good soundtrack? I'm impressed
1:50 With Mark Ruffolo 😍
we need more mcu movies like this one with lots of witty comedy threaded together with cool action sequences
I watched this movie yesterday and i loved it
The soundtrack is just amazing
It's now one of my favourite movies
i absolutely love this retro track
God I loved these kind of tracks in the movie
This theme really sets the mood for most of this movie! 🍿
Guess who's back to direct Thor 4 baby!
2017...the year that Thor: Ragnarok became my favorite Marvel movie and de-throned Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Epic movie no one can replace this movie no words to describe ✌👏👍
Abdul wajahat I guess infinity war has just done it.
Abdul wajahat Infinity War: Hold my beer.
Ragnarok then picks up a bazooka and shows IW where is its place :D
My favorites would go:
1. Guardians of the Galaxy
2. Thor Ragnorok
3.Infinity War
@@Mothbean Late comment, but those are my top 3 as well. Guardians of the Galaxy has been my favorite since I first saw it.
God there were parts of this movie that made me think of if they ever made the video game Borderlands into a movie, then the feel of half this movie would be in that theoretical movie.
Thorderlands.
Ikr? This music reminded me of pre-sequel
glad someone else noticed. all i could think of was the presequel soundtrack during this movie
Most colorful and melodious Marvel movie till date.
I love the retro feel to this music it’s so awesome
my only problem with this film is his powers were not expanded upon in endgame, he just became the god of hammers.
my way of watching mcu movies was very disordered. I watched Ragnarok after infinity war and endgame. and watching this movie made me happy on so many levels. this song at the end felt so nostalgic, I was missing Loki so much. it's like a happy goodbye to him as he dies in infinity war. I can't stop thinking about it :( but there's this theory that since he stole the tessaract back in 2012, he messed with the timeline and from that, he might be alive. I hope the Disney+ Loki series shows him being alive after all that
You are in luck!
I fell asleep like 15 times in the start of this movie while attempting to watch it. Finally watched it on attempt number 16. Best movie ever right along side Endgame.
Thank you for uploading this song. I've been looking for it since I watched the movie. Love it!
This music has a bit of the late 70s or early 80s vibe.
THE REVOLUTION HAS BEGUN!
1:11 this is where the Grandmaster comes on the credits 😍
Should have had him dancing to the whole thing off to the side in the credits lol,
or better yet showed him with his music rig like he was DJing/ live performing it.
"BRING ME THANOS!"
It had an odd number which means that it was fantastic.
Weird how Thor with Even numbers are flops while Thor with Odd numbers are hits.
Am I the only one who loves the poster for the film.
Probably one of my favorite Marvel films, plus Mark Mothersbaugh rules!!
I'm not someone who generally likes the MCU music (except Iron Man 3 sort of but mostly the amazing Avengers main theme) but this is really good stuff
I need a playlist of similar songs like this. Please 🌌🌌🌌
this should bump in the club
It does actually. We played it during a sound check before a local event just to see if it would.
What's needed though is a longer version. Would have been nice if the soundtrack had an extended club mix.
Amazing soundtrack given by Mark Motherbough, after Iron man 1 & 3i love Thor Ragnarok Music 🎵❤❤❤
I love this funny movie. They are mocking their own Marvel movie. It's ridiculous on purpose because remember when a stoned character said : "the only thing that make sense is that it doesn't make sense".
Один из моих любимых фильмов🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿🌠👍👍👍
1:20 favorite part
Thor franchise had a huge record of misleading their end credits song name since the first movie where the end credit song named as ' Thor kills the destroyer' and now Planet Sakkar
mark mothersbaugh is definetly a beast
this is my third favourite film of MCU
First is Endgame and second is infinity war
This film was so enjoyable, what on Earth happened in the sequel?
Music like this makes me think I can take on the world. Worthy of an oscar.
I've got to say, I wasn't a fan of the first and second thor movies, but this one was awesome
Thor Ragnarok was hands down the greatest score! It has that mighty orchestral vibe and then does a full 180 and has music that is very space like and sounds very 80s, kick ass movie and the entire set design was awesome! Thor Ragnarok is a treasure.
Would love a 5 to 9 minute version on this on Vinyl...or lossless PCM. This would hit hard in a hard, but 2 minutes doesn't leave much runway to mix in and out of.
Back to Arcade and Techno era !! Oh my so nostalgic
"wait wait wait, whose a**?"
-Bruce Banner
I noticed this version in the beginning is different from the one from the credits. At the start, the bass is less stronger and there is almost like a heavenly feel to it and like it sounds people were singing. Compared to this one that the bass is strong from start to finish. Anyone know if i can find that version?
i need this as well
Some parts of this theme remind me The Neverending Story OST. It is really beautiful!
Neverending storyyyy....... Uhhhh uhhh. ...uhhhhhh
It's my birthday, damn right I woke up and blasted this.
AWESOME MOVIE AT THE FINEST
_"Release the foam."_
Thor Ragnarok 😳😻🙅
So nostalgic
Just one hour ago I can not acces to any of the Thor movie's soundtracks.
I could listen to this all day
R.I.P the God Stan fucking Lee. May you be seated among the greats in Valhalla.
I honestly wish the MCU remains as a fun, amazing, whacky, and badass universe after Phase 3.
God... finally I found this song.. thanks bro👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I blasted this out in the speakers of my exam hall.
That was the last thing everyone heard.
And i got disqualified
Sound for games of the years 80
Still the closest thing to Flash Gordon we have now. Please let Mark Mothersbaugh do the music for it when Disney undoubtedly buys King Features.
Love how Sci-fi this is
Excluding Infinity War, this is easily my favorite MCU film to date
I’ve listened to this 24/7 for three years….i need help…💀
R.I.P. Heimdall
R.I.P. Loki
By far, Thor : Ragnarok is the best solo mcu film coming in first place for me. Though Homecoming is good I still think Ragnarok is better.
