So, so good! Instead of rolling my eyes when my husband makes a 2 sec. story an hour long, I will watch for the details he notices. Thank you for this! I needed this❣️

found there are prayers for fixing divorce and brokenness marriages. Although me and my wife are now back together and our love is even stronger but I was a total mess when she first dumped me.

I loooove these convos and how candid and honest they are. But I feel like the men need to do one too, just to get their perspective. And to also clarify sockgate 🤣🤣🤣

This episode made me miss my husband so much! After waiting patiently until I was 37 to find him, I enjoyed even the disagreements, and actually looked forward to working things out, as well as all the things that were easy (and he did make it so easy!). After only 4.5 years together I was left a widow with two small children. Life is still a great joy, but what I miss most is being a team. And now this episode is reminding me how much I was looking forward to working through the growth and challenges together!

I’m so sorry for your loss Sarah, and the ensuing loneliness it brought. I pray God continues to heal your heart, cover your family, and bring you hope and expectation for your future.

I totally agree with you about choosing a kind man to marry- to be shown loving-kindness , especially on your worst days, is so soothing, restorative and affirming....so Christ-like and to be so highly valued. Kindness is strength, not weakness. I think I am blessed by being married to the kindest man ever🤗🧡

That comment is so funny about socks. I begged my kids to couple their dirty socks because l got so tired of single socks appearing in the laundry. I also begged my husband to turn his socks right side out. Because l hate sticking my arm into a dirty sock- over and over - before washing them. 😂

My husbands grandfather gave some wise advice on the day before our wedding. He said, “The first twenty years are the worse and after that it’s plain sailing!” 😂😂😂

Is it wrong to sleep in different bedroom after 24years?
My husband is retired and he watch every sports and films at night he goes to the loo every 30 minutes and it keeps me awake and I go to work the following morning. So ti have a good sleep I have to sleep in the spare bedroom.
I go to the gym and my husband watches tv. I do all the house chores shopping and cooking and serve him his dinner. Because I can sleep better now I’m just happy to do all that

Can you have a discussion about the sharing of tasks and not watching tv late at night? I guess if neither of you want to have sex or snuggle up together then that would work but it seems sad to stop that closeness. Discussions established so that you are a team balancing each other’s needs. If you have discussed it and you’re both happy then why ask? Be confident in your own marriage and what works for both of you. If it doesn’t work for both of you then that’s when it would need change.

Yes but that’s something you’d usually spot before marriage. Leopards and spots.
