I feel that, when it comes to women, society focuses more on the emotional tools and focuses less on the tools for confidence, for being opiniated, for believing that you can do anything. They do the opposite with men. No matter the gender, if everyone was given BOTH the tools to be in touch with their emotions and the tools to discover their strenghts and confidence, wouldn't the world be a better place ? I think it's a question of balance. One is not able to discover their full potential if they don't have a box with all of the tools, and not just half of them.
