I love doing spring cleaning❤ The feeling of tossing everything into garbage bags just makes me so happy! I prefer using black trash bags instead of white ones because it feels so much better when you are going room by room
@@CatherineElaine I searched for so long for the correct trash bags that can fit my trash can😂 I would recommend the Walmart black ones because they can hold so much❤
I decluttered and organized every nook and cranny of our home, and it feels so good. My fibromyalgia pain kicked my butt during the process, but I’m so happy it’s done. My housekeepers can now deep clean our home with ease. I love your videos sweetie. You always do such a great job cleaning and organizing. Praying your surgery is successful and your recovery is speedy.❤️🙏🏼❤️
We have been using truly free for nearly a year now. My youngest and I have very sensitive skin and I noticed within just a few washes how much our skin started clearing up. By far has been our favorite cleaner for our clothes!
Wow, you are such a hard worker! For tiny cars, I saw a tip about putting them on the wall on spice shelves, I think they are -- narrow, long, lipped shelves, like from Ikea. They were ideal, easily accessible, and attractive.
💚it’s so funny seeing you talk about the under the island bc I was just watching Jaimie’s journey and she said the same this this week. I am a little behind on my videos but catching up. I too have been declutter and have found your videos very motivating. Love all the realness ❤
I have a couple tips that works for us. For the dust bunnies under the bed… Our robot vacuum would not fit through the slats so I undo one screw and lift up a slat and stick the robot vacuum there to do its thing. For the card collection… We have one of those three tier roll carts off of Amazon. Each shelf has dividers so my husband can split them up by category how he likes and then it just rolls into the closet so anytime he wants to look at them He can just roll it out look at them and it holds quite a bit honestly.
Hi Catherine, I just subscribed a week or so ago, and have been enjoying your videos. Seeing how hard you worked today, I'm REALLY thankful I never had kids! 😄. I have enough trouble cleaning up after myself! 🤪You are so thoughtful to help your mom before her surgery. ❤️💛💜 Before I had both hips replaced, I could hardly walk four steps, and the pain was awful! I'm sure she is beyond grateful! 💚💚💚.
So…thinking of your son’s room. Just a thought…maybe you have too many “spaces” for him to put things. The door bins, bins on the floor, the Mon thru Fri boxes on the dresser. Bookshelves, bureau… lots of places. If it were me, I would get rid of the floor bins. I can’t remember if you have drawers in his closet, but if he has a bureau, does he need the ones in the closet too? Maybe put in some shelving. My oldest did the baseball card thing. We kept them in binders like you do but on his shelving in the closet. And you will have to eventually resort to, “some out before new come in” cuz if he continues this, his room will be wall to wall cards. lol! He can donate them… make another boy happy. Anyway…just some thoughts. Good luck! Keep us posted on your surgery. 🥰
💚 Hi Catherine! Hope all goes well with your surgery and recovery! I have been loving your decluttering videos and can’t wait to see what you do at your Mom’s house! Have a great rest of your week!
I love your videos. They give me such motivation. If only cleaning went as fast as it does when you speed up your videos. I love having things clean and decluttered. I’m decluttering and cleaning my garage this weekend. Good luck with your surgery and blessing to you and your family💚
For sheets, we absolutely love our Brooklinen sheets. They’re an investment for sure, but my goodness they are so crisp and soft and have stood the test of time!
Catherine, this was a great video. I love decluttering. I always do "mom" cleans in my daughters room. She keeps so many little things and paper. Have a great week.
💚 great video as always! So fun that your son shares same hobbies as your husband and to see the comparison (may not have transpired if you hadn’t gotten back together!) your pets are cute as well - I once had a male orange tabby. Also, that is quite the gap between you & your sister, it’s awesome that you took her to a concert. After my mom took me to see the beach boys in my city in 1982, she swore it was too loud and she would I never take me again! (She hasn’t) I’m sure your mom was probably the same way. Great you were able to take your sister and awesome you both had a blast! Look forward to seeing your other videos and declutter inspirations!
My brother collected baseball cards and he had them in a binder and put the cards in plastic slots. He’d place the binders on his bookshelf and would look through the plastic pages whenever he wanted to admire his collection. The plastic protects them from damage so double benefit.
💚 💚 great video as always! I’ve had really good luck (surprisingly) with the Target brand sheets. I think it’s called room essentials? Anyway, they’re very soft and comfortable and I’ve had them almost 2 years. I’m going to be 44 this summer and my kids are 11 and almost 8. I’m happy to say I’m healthier and better at 43 than I was at 30! 😊
Have a suggestion about the car collection: my son, when a young boy, had something like what you speak of and we got him some acrylic shadow-boxes for storage which hang on a wall. They were originally made for collector dolls (small) but didn't sell well and we got them for a discounted price. They were not too heavy but we mounted them on the wall with good hardware so they were secure. My son put his little diecasts on them, sometimes with a box and sometimes not. He made a rule for himself (okay, we helped) that he could fill 2 but had to put in storage (sight unseen in closet) any extras or donate them to charity. That downsized permanently his collection as he self-limited : having them in a place out-of-sight was not very rewarding. Using wall and vertical space freed up horizontal surfaces and could be dusted with one of the simple Swiffer fluffies... (Easy for me!) And we think it taught "pride-of-place" and respect for whatever deemed collectible. Hope this helps!-- Oh, neighbor had same issue with her son and she bought those unusual wall-mounted bookshelves which are angled: her son stacked the tiny boxes with the picture-end outward to make it easy for him to single out (find) which he wanted.-- Guess creative answer can manifest in many ways!-- good luck!
💚 Wow that was a lot I don’t miss it at all. My house got so bad after a holiday. I feel you about declutterring the toys my grandkids have some toys at my house. I get to say what stays and goes so that’s a plus lol great motivation!
Not sure whether you will read this, but... if the under-bed drawer in your son's room can be fully removed, you can try to take it out and vacuum from the side? (like from that drawer hole...) Not sure if that makes sense :D
💚 I love your videos! One of the things I really appreciate is how honest you are about the reality of keeping a house tidy with young children - thank you so much x
omg girl😢 we as moms have so so much to do all the time every single day. I’m on the path of decluttering my home and it feels great, I have 5 bags for donation ready and going for more😊❤ take it easy dear.😊
Hi Catherine- I'm watching now and thinking of storage for the sports cards. Would a clear bin work. He can see them in that. Another idea I remember you had a pin board, I think, in the apartment you were in. He could have his favourite ones on the board and the others in the clear bin. I've been cleaning too. Take care ❤
I recently bought the Kirkland sheets from Costco based on a recommendation. They are amazing and such good quality. They’re not cheap but worth it. They wash well and if you have a deep mattress which I do, they go around the corners beautifully. I would definitely recommend! Although I guess only good if you have a Costco membership lol.
There are binders for sports cards that really help to keep them in order. I used to collect baseball cards and I kept them in binders so I could look through them whenever I wanted.
WOW you took me back to when my kids were little and all living at home as you threw that laundry down the stairs 😂😂. I had to throw down 3 flights. I have 7 kids. 8 loads was an every 2 to 3 days for me. Love your videos
Our daughter and son in law got their daughter one of the beds that had a desk underneath for her. It worked well bit it lasted for about 4 years and now our granddaughter is back to a regular bed.
We put a piece of plastic down and then we put a box Spring on top of the plastic and then another box Spring and then a mattress so I. Never have to clean under the bed.
💚💚💚💚💚 I feel you on 10 574 stuffed animals !! 🤣 Thank you so much for a wonderful video (again!) and I will go and rewatch your declutter video for the ratings !!! Have a wonderful week !!! 🌷🌷🌷
Heyya, I’m a new viewer! Could you pull out the big drawer at the bottom of your older sons bed and get a vacuum through there to clean very now and then? Seems easier than taking off the mattress if it’s possible :) Been really enjoying the declutterring videos!
I feel like you have sooo much storage around, like all the additional shelves and drawers, i have a clean surface rule in our house, whatever u have should fit into your closet or the dedicated shelf. No additional boxes etc. Maybe this might work for you. Good luck in your journey
💚 All this time, I thought Carson's bedding was a mattress cover where you only had to change the top and not the whole sheet. It's cool that it's actually a sleeping bag. Loved your video. I would not recommend getting a loft bed. You will get annoyed very quickly in needing to climb up and down to change his sheets and throw everything up to the bed. I turn 35 this year 😢 & I still dont feel like I got my life together yet 😂 and I dont have kids but do have 2 cats to keep me sane (or insane) 🤣
My brother had a serious Pokémon card collection and he put them in binders with like clear binder inserts for cards. If you haven't already I'd look into that!
We do Pokémon cards in a 3 ring binder with clear protective sleeves specifically for trading cards. It keeps them safe and makes looking at/organizing them easy and fun. That being said we also do have a box for overflow cards lol
I love doing spring cleaning❤ The feeling of tossing everything into garbage bags just makes me so happy! I prefer using black trash bags instead of white ones because it feels so much better when you are going room by room

The start of this video made me feel so much better; seeing not everything in its place, so it isn't just my house. 💚
That’s sweet of you to take your younger sister to a concert! How fun to spend time with her! 🌸 Did lots in the video! Good job! 💚
You Go Girl!! You were awesome...what a fabulous free yard sale you offered your neighbors!! You should be proud!

Totally agree -that square bookshelf is taking up a lot of floor space. A wall shelf would free up a lot of space.
Cozy earth linen sheets are so comfy!!!
💚 Thankyou for making another helpful video. You have such a pleasant voice to listen to whilst I get my own cleaning done!
Wow! You are amazing to get done what you did that day! Let alone 8 loads of laundry!😅
💚 Way to go!!! You accomplished a lot!
You are one busy mom!! I also have a slatted bed frame! Pain in the … So enjoy your content!!💚
Looking forward to your decluttering videos!

That Rubik’s cube on Carson’s floor was HUGE !! 👍👍👍👍😁😀😀💚
I thought the same thing
Love your videos 😊 for under the bed u can blow everything to one corner with a blowdryer and vacuüm that up

I just discovered your channel! Great job 💚
My favorite sheets are Brooklinen. They were expensive, but they are the softest and longest-wearing sheets I've ever owned.
I had a set a few years ago and my cats ripped a hole in them 😭
This video was packed with all the cleaning motivation I needed! Thank you! 💚
💚 I am the type of person to do all the laundry, but it sits around in baskets... 😅 i like watching these videos while i fold and hang! Thanks!
Have you thought of putting Carson’s bed closer to the wall. To open up more floor space
omg girl😢 we as moms have so so much to do all the time every single day. I’m on the path of decluttering my home and it feels great, I have 5 bags for donation ready and going for more😊❤ take it easy dear.😊
The kids/husband in my life loooove collecting too! So that's a struggle I feel you on!
💚 I enjoy your videos. Keep up the motivation! I have so much to go through and your videos convince me to get up and do it.
Sheridan bedding is lovely quality.

If you ever need a store brand laundry detergent. Arm & Hammer Baby Detergent is super safe and smells amazing! 💚💚
If you can find an old library card catalog cabinet or something like it. They’re perfect for sports cards.

I should do this next time! Haha

Hello I'm new to your channel do you discuss what cleaning products you like to use? Thanks
use a hair dryer to get all the dust together, this makes it easier to vacuum it up under the bed
