We shuffled and drew the top card for significator; it was the shattered mirror. Talk about the cards singing! I like the book especially for its spicy comments, and descriptions of people. Thanks for these interesting little shows.
I have them now.. They are lovely. The box is lovely and the book is a real little gem! Another bonus is that being so white they won't need to be edged. I love the extra cards. I think they only deepen the scope of readings and I can't wait to grab someone to read for! Thank you as always Kelly for introducing me to another beautiful deck. Big hug xxx

I learned on a plain deck of cards with some hand writing, my first husbands aunt used, and taught me. She left me her cards. I need to get them out of storage.

I can see that, it's so gorgeous and unique. I like reading playing cards as well so I love this deck, although I do see some of the cards differently but the images don't get in the way of that for me.

My mum gave me the same deck a couple of months ago but I had a hard time with the other cards which are not in a lenormand deck and therefor did not use it that often! I wished there would be more people who would make 52 cards Lenormand decks, so one could have a variety of choices. I like this deck but some cards are just way too unclear, if you would not know what it supposed to be, you wouldn't really know. Most pictures are nice but there are some pictures that I'm not really found of.
"tacheles reden" means "to speak distinctly and openly, to do some straight talking" and the word is used in german but is actually a jiddish word. and is perfectly describes what lenormand does, right?
Now this is how you design a Lenormand (ish) deck! I love it! I have the other version coming to me :) But I hope to get the mass produced set too one day :)
I have worked quite a bit with this deck and highly recommend it, it's in my top decks to recommend. I use just the Lenormand for Grand Tableau reading but for anything else I use all the cards and enjoy them greatly!
I wanted to buy them before the holidays so I can wait with those and the Tarot of Delphi until Baba Studios reprints their Victorian romantic tarot ^-^

Gypsy witch is based on a 1890 deck by Adolph Engel. Their numbers arnt wrong they are just not lenormand. My feeling is lenormand is gypsy witch with all the negative cards censored out. Maybe lenormand would be good but i think the art is horrible. I love the je june primitive scribbles of gypsy witch. Just thought I'd share!
