Kelly, you are the only UA-camr I have seen using this method. I found this after I have spent the last few days using this method. I am excited to find that you had already discovered what I only recently discovered. The dimensions to my readings are mind boggling!

But if we were to read with lenormand cards then the "negative" suits are the Clubs and the Diamonds to a less extent, whereas the positive " suits are the Hearts and the Spades, which would give us a completely different reading. Here obviously you are using playing cards meanings.

You can always choose, some people will do for the coming year, whether Jan-Dec or from Birthday to Birthday, many people do this type of reading as a 3 month checkin as well :)
Have you ever thought to put together a 36 card deck where you pick the Lenormand symbol for each playing card that actually comes closest to it's meaning? I've been thinking about doing that as an experiment. From all my research what my understanding is, that the lenormand symbols were for reading and the playing card inserts were for playing the Game of Hope or any other 36 card game. What are your thoughts?
Yes :) I did that for my Nellie's deck that I am almost finished making, I put them onto the playing cards that align with my understanding of PC and Lenormand :)

I'm not even sure it's a lenormand deck now. lol just loved the mini-ness and butterflies.
That is the Game of Hope Lenormand which is no longer in print, however she reprinted it with some changes as the 1889 Lenormand, which while not having all the butterflies, is an absolutely stunning deck, AND she has a mini version. So you can’t use the whole deck of 52 playing cards?!
This is a Lenormand spread and Lenormand isn't based off of a 52 card deck but off of a German playing card deck which has 36 cards not 52 :)
