Hello sir I am an Egypt young man and I watch all your videos on UA-cam. I have a question. Could you please help me know which sentence is correct? When Brent comes out of the elevator, there’s a painting on the wall that caught my attention. It’s divided in three panels, it’s called “The Garden of Earthly Delights”.
Hi Brent! Another great video! Thanks so much for this lesson! The white thing the owners gave you as snack is a famous processed cheese called Polenguinho and that black pan is used mostly to prepare omelet. You were lucky not trying the juice, it was guava juice for sure. Leme and Copacabana are almost the same neighborhood, the borders aren't clear. What a view that apartment have! Thanks again!
Excellent visit of the hotel. I noticed the toilets in south america is special, with the particularity of throwing the toilet papers in a thrasbin instead of letting them with the rest of what you have done.
Hello there, I believe this is changing. In my part of Brazil we toss toilet paper in the bowl and flush it down. We still have the bins but use them for things such as cotton swabs and dental floss.
To answer your question at the beginning of the video : NO!!! I don't want to improve my AirBnB English!! 😂🤣 Just kidding, it is always a delight watching your lessons whatever the topic is. Keep'em coming my man, ciao 😘
Congratulations I like your contents, I am learning English and your job is help to improve it... I was born in Rio de janeiro but I live in São Paulo...
Hold on, they use the bum gun in Brazil?! I had no idea!! It’s the best thing since sliced bread. The only gun that should be legal in the US 😅! Also, the floor squeegee is quite handy. I like it better than the mop because you don’t need no wringing out, but you do need to have a drain in the floor which I believe is not common in North American homes, right?
@@AmericanEnglishBrent No problem my man, we are all students one way or another, I'm a teacher of math and French here in Beirut but also a student of English and Italian 😅.
No one in my entire family and also in my husband’s family have that little bucket by the toilet. We just throw the paper into the toilet and flush it down. The problem is that some Brazilians still have that old misconception that if you throw the paper in and flush, the toilet will get clogged. Our pipes and sewers can take care of it perfectly well. Just think, if that paper, so delicate could clog a toilet, imagine what would happened with some 💩.
We are all learning new stuff together in this leaaon, I swear to God I knew that the device that makes your beverage foamy is called a frother,.right?
Unfortunately, I have been living in Canada for six years. I think somehow you'll be in Istanbul. So, try two delicious things; " döner" and "midye". There are many restaurants to eat. But for me, Karadeniz Döner which is in "Beşiktaş Çarşı, and Mercan Restaurant, which is in Kadıköy are the best. Enjoy :)
Hi, I really enjoy watching your videos, the only thing I don't like are the subtitles, it's really bad to watch videos with subtitles. I can't focus on the video itself.

Thank you for another English lesson. I learned a lot of new words related to kitchen items. Have a good one my friend ❤
Thank you! 😃
Hi, Brent! Thank you so much for the great lesson. The view from the window is amazing.
Thanks, Ulia!
Thx. Brent. A new video works a lot for my learning. I leant some new words and expressions from a native speaker! That's cool.
That makes me happy to hear. 🙏🏼

Happy you are having fun in Brazil. Say hello to Cida, watched the other video too. Cheers!
Diego, we had a great time. Such a wonderful city.
Oi Diego! Quanto tempo!👋🇧🇷
How’s Canada treating you? Are you getting used to the cold and bagged milk already?😉
Oi Diego!!! Saudades!
We had a great time with Brent and Jamie!
And now I'm enjoying all the videos he made while he was here.
have you great time near the beach
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Thank you Brent for the video, it was awesome, I learned lots of words and the view was really beautiful!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
In French we say parasol too for a beach umbrella (to protect from the sun). An umbrella (un parapluie in French) is to protect from the rain.
Johanne, great to see you. 🙏🏼
Thank you so much for the lesson, Brent! And especially for the gorgeous view. I've never eaten guava, but I have feijoa in my garden (looks similar)
Denis, thanks for watching!

It is a beater to beat coffee and make it fluffy.
I also don’t know what it’s called in my native language. Because I drink coffee without milk.🙂
It is hand beater like wisk to beat the coffee.
Brent, you're so cool, the Portuguese word above the doorbell means "doorbell" 🤣 it resembles "campanello" in italiano.
Oh, thanks for the clarification.
Banana in Arabic is maws (موز)
Hold on, they use the bum gun in Brazil?! I had no idea!! It’s the best thing since sliced bread. The only gun that should be legal in the US 😅!

Mohd, I guess so. I never dared to try it out.
Brent, what's wrong with you my friend 😂? @14:48 this is refined iodized salt!
Oh, boy. Thanks for the clarification.

Very nice place 👌 13:39 I think it's called a frother.
Etienne, yes! Great job!
Hello. Teacher , could you please tell me what is congas
Sure. I think of it as a drum.
Yep we men use congas I have two of them
That is good to know, Emanoel. Thanks for the feedback.

It is definitely a frother. Thanks.
It's doorbell in Portuguese, "campainha"😃
Oh, thanks so much! That makes sense. I doubt I could ever pronounce it, though. :)
Conga is a kind of drum here too, this one is a "canga", and please, do not wear a canga, this is not for guys kkkkkk
Ok, thanks. Some people have told me that men can use cangas! kkkkk
Are you guys going to maddona concert in Copacabana beach tomorrow ?
We are not, Emanoel. We are back home, actually.
I used Reverso app to translate umbrella to Portuguese :
guarda-chuva for rain
guarda-sol / pára-sol / sombrinha for sun (beach)
Thank you. Beirut. What a great city. I'd love to visit one day.

Is that a mixer ?
It could be. Someone in the comments said, frother. I like that.

o yes,🤩 this is pink guava juice.
I'm so glad we stayed away from that. I'm sure my wife would have had an allergic reaction. :)

Please tell us about the price you paid for the stay if it's not too much revealing.
It was about $1500.

Are you going to the Madonna show?
No, I'm back home already.
Banana in Arabic is (moisa) موز
Thanks, Mahmood.
Will you go to Madonna show?
No, I am already back in the United States.
Muz means banana in Turkish :))

Banana in arabic is Mawzuh موزة and it's plural is Mawz موز, that's in standard arabic.
Thanks for the clarification. I need to learn a few Arabic and Turkish phrases. I'll be visiting Turkey in a couple weeks.
