  • On the occasion of ‘Eduardo Chillida 100 years’ and in collaboration with the Estate of Eduardo Chillida, ‘Chillida in Menorca’ celebrates the artist’s profound connection with the island through a major presentation of sculpture and works on paper, including several created during his time in Menorca. Featuring over 60 works spanning half a century from 1949 to 2000, the exhibition exemplifies the full breadth of Chillida’s oeuvre.
Hear from the son and daughter of the artist, Susana and Luís Chillida, about their father's connection with Menorca, formed during the many summers he spent on the island from 1989.

I believe this artist deserves a short on his work that has quality subtitles for an english audience. The subtitles here are horrible to read along with even on my third viewing. You would not do that to Barbara Hepworth. He is as important as she and deserves clarity if you are going to attempt to do justice to this wonderful artist.

The font is too small for the speed of dialogue. Spanish is spoken faster than English. Also white lettering against a mostly white background of gallery spaces and the wash (over exposure of day light), makes white lettering difficult to spot and orient on before the next passage arrives. And not, I slowed it down to .75 speed to keep up.
