How do I find that capture card? It's not in the descriptions. And I couldn't see, but where does the PS2 to HDMI plug into. I couldn't see both ends of the cord. I haven't bought it yet, but I want to make sure I know what I'm doing before I do.
@@GenerationNextNextNext You can find the Elgato capture card from Best Buy and the latest capture cards they have in the store right now are 4K X and HD60 X. The PlayStation AV to HDMI converter cable is plugged from the PS2 to the TV via HDMI cable. Please note that the HDMI converter cable needs to have AC power in order to make it work. So you will also need to plug the power cable for the converter to an outlet. That's the best I could explain to you and I hope that helps you
When I record PS5 game play I use the Elgato chat link to pick up the PS5 audio (obviously wouldn't work with a PS2) I didn't think OBS would pick up the game play audio automatically (which is why I bought the chat link) For PS2 will it record the gameplay audio automatically or do you have to add some sort of other source? (Great vid by the way!)
The only problem im facing is with the adapter, I got the “ps2 to hdmi” thing that goes on the back with everything set up perfectly but I get “no signal” stuff on my monitor, I even tried it on other tvs and I’m not sure what is going on
You actually have to change the input channel to the HDMI output where your cable is plugged into your TV with the capture card like I did it in the video
@@littlemac8173 Thank you, so I've tried with the "MINI" AV 2 HDMI and it didn't work. So I bought the direct HDMI converter, similar to the one you have, and that works! :)
1. What makes you think he's from the UK? (he wouldn't know what you mean by "flat" otherwise) 2. What makes you think he's living in a lil flat? (a.k.a apartment) (it could be a house) You could've looked for clues to confirm your assumption. An obvious clue is to check the date on his computer. 5:05 "06/25/2022" so he's most likely from US which was already obvious since his accent is more US than UK. Critical thinking. The more you know... 😉
I've never use HD60 X for Elgato before but I'm pretty sure it will also work for it, and yes this will also work with the Wii console through the Wii to HDMI Adapter as well
Mines have a lot of interlacing, do you know how to fix that??
Thanks so much
Sp hpw do i get audio if ps2 has no jack input

@@littlemac8173 Yes it does thank you!
I get no signal, but the game is being shown on my tv

My PS2 recorded the game audio automatically when I set up everything correctly with the Elgato HD60 S+ capture card.
@@littlemac8173 gotcha I think it might just be the PS5 that you need the chat link for. Thank you!

did you ever figure out how to fix this issue? I have been having the same problem for the longest time and i'm completely stumped on it.
Have you tried changing on PS2 the video output to y pb pr?
hi, do you know if it works with a "MINI" AV 2 HDMI converter?
really helpful video :) thx
Yes. It works with Mini AV to HDMI converter cable as well. I've seen some people have that. They've tested it and it works

Your Flat looks like a Serialkillers Hideout o0
I don't know what that is lol

Ha Ha more like a house attic or garage.
looks like a fucking rats nest
Does the Playstation converter darken the game at all when you use it?
No I don't think so. It just makes the game look a lot clearer in a high quality of 1080p
Does this also apply and work for the HD60X brand of elgato? and I'm assuming this would also work on the Wii through the Wii to HDMI adapter?
