Such a shame how many rich, connected people buy cars like this with no intention of ever driving and enjoying them! This past weekend I had the opportunity to let my wife ride in a LaFerrari at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas. The owner, who's had it since new, took her for a few laps at speeds hitting 173 MPH, all to benefit a local children's charity. Not only does he drive and enjoy his cars, my wife reported that he was also very nice and a talented driver! THAT is how these cars were meant to be used!
@@tlove2108 No, not at all. It was a charity event. I was instructing and my wife agreed to come down with me. So I booked a nice hotel, took her to dinner the night before and while I was on track all day in a 911 GT3, I donated to the charity to give her the opportunity to ride in a GT3 RS and the LaFerrari. All fun and all for a tremendous cause!

Yeah guys, uh, what you've made here is a 10 minute ad. Coming from one of the all time masters of smooth ad segues, this whole thing feels a little hamfisted.
That 918 in the background is amazing. I watched an elderly gentleman race one in Commerce, GA one night on test & tune. Not only did he have a 918, he claimed that Porsche "gave" him a GT3 just for buying the 918 and it was there too. Was a bit mind blowing
That car just makes me think of the Guy that used to Drive a Black Enzo around Denver about 10 years ago and it was always out somewhere because it did actually get driven which was so cool to see.
$5 million on 1 single car is nuts to me, especially considering they were 1/4th that new and most people that buy Hypercars either dont even fucking drive it or flip them anyway a year later...theres so many amazing cars and such a nice showroom that you could buy for that much, especially if you like older or well modded more daily kinds of cars that have been built
@@fastfrog0077 Lol that is such a hard concept for scarcity minded people to even think of. A guy who spends 5 million on a car definitely already has 10+ other cars and has owned virtually every car worth having at one point anyways 😂
Your definition of "treat it that bad" and mine are probably a lot different. Most of these cars are not treated all that badly and to get them back to "like new" condition will always require some kind of restoration regardless of how the car was treated. Some of what I consider treating a car badly usually sends the car to the mechanic, and not doing some paint correction or removing paint swirls.
To the average person, it didn't look all that BAD. They basically took the car and brought it back to "concourse" condition or Like New on the showroom floor.
So many ppl are losing their minds about the car having to "have some restoration done" like it's the end of the world or the car was absolutely trashed. I've seen how some people treat their exotics on some channels here, and I very highly doubt the La Ferarri was treated in any manner as those cars. The simple fact there was some restoration done to the paint doesn't seem like it would have been a greek tragedy and more just making the car look like it did on the showroom floor. The car probably could have driven past almost every single person in the comment section before the paint restoration and none of them would have thought anything of it.
This is the one. Yes, yes, yes. I saw 3 of these parked outside the local Starbucks this morning which tells me only one thing. There's too many self indulgent wieners in this city with too much bloody money!

I love the story on the car and am slightly conflicted. One should always honor the commitments they make and Wynn should have done so as well. I also am of the opinion that if you own something you should be able to do whatever you like with it (within the letter of the law). To square that circle I don't buy things if they come with strings attached and Wynn should have not have bought the car if he knew he'd likely not want to keep it under the terms of the purchase.

I gotta say I don't really mind the Ferrari position on flipping especially considering the insane "market adjustments" and flipping we've seen the past couple years even on normal vehicles. Saw a dealer recently that wanted Platinum prices for an XL Super Duty. Seems like it would be completely fair for Ford to say you just aren't getting any more from us.
