I'd dare say there better than Queen. Sure Queen were liked by nearly everyone and Billy Talent don't have that same thing but, damn. They are just outstanding.
@Blinksick Just cause Billy Talent went for a slower different sound rock doesn't mean that they are less skilled. I know of some guitarist who could play that then try and play some of the chords in Billy Talent songs and shit sideways.
@Blinksick I have. They're alright. That song has a typical chord progression in the chorus and verse. Just added notes above the chord in the verses to hide it. Yep sure good lead parts tucked safely inside the walls of the genre.
