America won't sign a bunch of them... it's really weird its just one of them things... it is what it is. If any artist from Canada is on the come up trust me when I say sign with a Canadian label first. Canada is very loyal to their artists. Dont be a fool and get ahead of yourself. It could save your career before you blow up. America will forget you as fast as they found you. Sign one year with Canada first then move on to getting signed by America.

The difference between rock music and today’s rap music is they way they affect people. Rock music has a way of “saving the broken” whereas modern rap evicts emotions of hatred and disrespect. I’ve personally seen many peoples lives ruined by themselves and I believe their rap music influenced their choices. Meanwhile stories like yours prove my point that rock can save lives. Disclaimer: I’m not saying that all rap is bad, just modern rap

Just saw them at LTL23. Learned my lesson from the Sleep Token show there and got a spot in the front EARLY. Man, I can't really put words to the pure catharsis of the show they put on. It was my fist time seeing this band that helped me through what amounted to big emotions in my teens. Its funny how you see that pain for what it is as an older man, but this time capsule we call music brings us back to the state of mind we were in back then. I'm rambling. I'm so grateful for this band and that I was able to see them live before I'm gone.

I remember hearing this song for the first time on Much Music when I was in seventh grade. I ended up seeing them live 2 years later, and met them beside the stage. They were really kind despite me being a cringe fan girl (I cried). Good memories of my youth.

i think this is the best song they ever did. it cuts deep. and that chorus just feels so hungry and compelling. They'd been playing together a long time before finally making it anywhere and it just feels like you can hear it. They had a lot of good songs, don't get me wrong, but something about this one.

I feel so cool because I'm 31 (from the USA) and just discovered Billy Talent. I'm telling all my friends like dude check out this "new band" I found. I also feel like I missed out bigtime. This is right up my alley of what I've listened to most of my life, would have been nice to know about them in High School. But I'm enjoying them now! Any one else relate to that? Probably the best band I've found in a long time.

This music video was filmed in my home town! The place they filmed it in was a psychiatric ward that was from like the 1930s and used during World War Two. It was comprised of like over 100 different abandoned buildings! One of the local high schools has a tunnel that runs underneath the town to where these buildings once stood. Unfortunately they’re all gone now except for 1 which faces the new Whitby psychiatric ward. Lol jus my lil history lesson 😂

Curious as to what it was I opened it up and when I heard them that day for the first time I was blown away at how fn awesome they were. You know, for a country of 37,000,000 currently, we were spoiled what with the likes of pop punk bands and acts such as Billy Talent, Simple Plan, Hedley, Sum 41 Gob, Mariana’s Trench, Three Days Grace, Avril Lavigne and a lesser known band in Not by Choice. And I’m sure there are a few others that I can’t think off of the top of my head. Not only did these guys get AirPlay in both Canada AND the US but they were consistent hitmakers!
