      And are full of shit, you fail to cover the parts where those employees would not take the proper steps to decontaminate, wouldn't shower, you got lead on your foot??? You're not suppose to tuck your pant legs in, problem solved, you brought lead home? Shower after work

      @@shawnkelly502 you've got a lot of insight considering some of that info wasn't provided in the TBT article or this video. I wouldn't wish this experience on Satan himself, let alone these workers and their families. Lead loves calcium. It sticks to bones. Becomes a part of your DNA. I did a little research before replying to you. Did you do ANY research? Why such disdain? Are you a present/former employee who wasn't selected to give an interview? Are you a part of management trying to blame the WORKERS for an already UNSAFE work environment?

      Thank you so much for bringing this to light! Lead is far more dangerous than people realize... it causes anger issues, ADHD, loss of intelligence, cancer, and arthritis!

    Thank you all for your hard work. I almost worked for Gopher but was blessed to find this investigative piece. They pay good but it ain't worth it if I have to worry about my health or even the health of any child I have in the future.
    And I hope this man's son gets the continued help he needs. As someone who was late diagnosed Asperger's, it makes life hard AF to navigate.

    what you speak is facts man, i worked at Deka Battery lead acid battery factory in Pennsylvania and I was working casting and forming room worked with lead sulfuric acid that you couldn't see your partner next to you from the steam and the arsenic when we would burn/weld the terminals. they say when it leaves your blood system it deposits in your bones. so thats very possible your kid would have that stuff. I showered at work, wore different clean clothes home. scrubbed my finger nails every night nail clipped, and wore a respirator and hosed down the dust plates they didn't like it but it was my health so screw them. godbless you and your family sir.

    I'm confused as to why the investigator wasn't being biased when creating this story. I am sure that Gopher gave him far more information regarding the safety procedures then what he is stating.

    • @a.mignonetterenaldi5091
      @a.mignonetterenaldi5091 3 роки тому +2

      Gopher had zero clue about the investigation, therefore no bias. No confusion. Footage provided by workers.

      @@a.mignonetterenaldi5091 its apparent that the investigator isn't being bias. What about the multiple interviews that spoke well about Gopher and the improvements they made after these videos where taken. What about the multiple procedures that the company requires employees to do? It seems to me that he is being Bais when creating this story.

      @@adalbertorobles570 New owners as of 2018. They inherited a mess. I did my research. How could they defend themselves with improvements without admitting to negligence in the first place? I think the new owners were probably duped by the previous ones. Why did Gopher's hand selected doctor who provided physicals fail to warn them that records were being pulled?? Bias or not. Improvements or not. There is a stark contrast between this plant and its sister site in MN. Take a look at the Axios story on this. It breaks the main points down to pure fact. No bias.

    • @adalbertorobles570
      @adalbertorobles570 3 роки тому +3

      There are only negative facts this dos not bring up all the facts and no the plant in tampa was not owned by new owners in 2018 your facts are incorrect. The medical records pulled are from employees that are no longer with Gopher resource.

    It's insane that we still allow this brain-eating element to be handled so carelessly, and even used in consumer products (lead-acid car batteries, fishing lures, air gun pellets, bullets) and burned in aviation gasoline.
