Akane is the happiest drummer on Earth !!!! And the best thing about her is how she is involved she is within the song itself. Her fills are possibly the best I've ever heard and even in her solo in Freedom you can see how her solo is part and parcel of the construction of the song itself. Kanami, with her genius for composition, writes the music to specifically include the drum solo. You can see that when the transition from the solo back into the song effortless and there is no clear delineation between the solo and the transition out of it. There's a reason why Jimmy Page told Akane when he attended a performance of theirs in Tokyo that she was the reincarnation of John Bonham. She is just amazing Her nickname of Gorilla fits the bill completely the way she hammers the skins.
