A guy I'm looking at is Orion Kerkering of the Phillies. It's not as if Alvarado is without warts. He shows control issues from time to time and had elbow inflammation last year. Kerkering is a flame thrower with an 86 mpl sweeping slider. A pitch usually thrown around 80 mph by most pitchers. He was dominate in the minors and made it all the way to the majors at age 22 and pitched in the NLCS. His sinker approaches triple digits. Oh, and his minor league numbers were excellent with a 1.51 ERA and 0.89 WHIP and 79:12 K/BB rate over 53 innings through 4 levels. He could be an elite level closer in the near future.

I love Stephenson, but he has a sore shoulder and Estevez was named closer. I look for Stephenson to take that job if he's healthy. Estevez was very bad in the 2nd half.
