    Mikhail (RIP) has a very high degree of knowledge of the human body. His techniques cause a lot of pain. Systema teaches you to control your response to pain, as does most real combat arts do. High level operatives go through a lot of pain management training. Systema can look fake and unrealistic to the untrained eye, but a lot of Systema is based on avoidance of confrontation not only on a macro level, but also on a micro level. This is really good stuff. For you Haters, go try a class.

    Dear Systema instructors,
    Congratulation on the video which has been a mixture of medium to high-level ways of handling knife attacks, probably intended for medium to advanced students, omitting the the beginners mentioned in the preface of the presentation.
    As it has been poointedf out, people when attacked are somehow overwhelmed by fear and other kinds of emotions, which is typical for beginners mostly unable to take the effective actions as presented.
    Having seen several videos of the Systema , I can only appreciate the mindful, strikingly simple yet creative approcach in solving critical situations as a knife-attack is in fact.
    This presentation has won the participants sympathy, but if intended for the wide public, a structurral, at least three -level grading of the presentation could add to the effect for those less trained.
    Breaking down the seminar into basic, intermediate and higher level solutions could have helped even the beginnners in some way and also prevent inappropriate reactions to the videa, mostly stemming from misunderstanding the ability to see the good intentions of the instructors.
    Keeping slow or medium-speed of the presentation is good for pointing out the important detailes of the movements but adding culminating each exercise in a high speed knife handling would persuade even those sceptical about the efficiency of the Systema.
    Yours sincerely,
    Pavol Bajusz, retired instructor of Goju-ryu Karate

    I Was Very Impressed at the Effortless defensive tactics,as well as the various offensive/defensive techniques of SYSTEMA,,Im embarrassed to admit,that the fighting style of SYSTEMA,Ought to have been taght to Our Armed Forces,in my opinion,Ought to,come out of the stone age,of these ridget mechanical fighting techniuqes,that actually project what your responce would be,like SYSTEMA,it flows,to where your opponent wont know what your responce would be,if I had the funds,I would be more than happy to order their fighting style of SYSTEMA,I only watched a few videos,im quite impressed,plus ,Mikail,(hope i spelled his name correctly)by his teaching,Yes,I did enjoy the entertainment value of his demeaner,

    I have never seen a Knife attack at 2 x mph, they are usually at 200 x mph so unless your attacker is a Sloth carrying a Blade and willing to cooperate completely with the defender then please do not try any of these defence techniques to prevent you being stabbed or you will end up with severe defence wounds to your hands or forearms or ultimately end up at the Morgue on a Slab !!! Very similar to Aikido complete waste of time in a real street fight or Knife attack !!

I hold a first degree black belt in Tae kwon do, and have studied in Aikido, Jui jitso (Japanese traditional style), Tang soo do and a good bit of police defensive tactics. I tried Systema, very good punching system... But dancing with a knife I do not believe. Not in the street. Knife stab but also cut... With a sharp one it's impossible to stop that way without getting hurt. Second thing, a knife fighter doesn't show his knife like this, he keeps it near his body and use distance for punching... But I repeat Systema got great stuff to learn, no martial art is perfect, depend on situation...

Hes not a con I just told you where to find the personal accounts of a pro mma fighter and a former professional bodyguard. The most recent one I found online is a guy named 'Mark J'. Hes got a channel called Systema with Mark J. Hes not nearly as skilled as the russians but hes got much easier to understand explanations (probably because the russian guys dont speak english well).You could also try to find a legitimate russian certified instructor, spar with them and experience first hand that it aint fake. Have you seen the jason bourne movies? Jason Bourne is a cia assassin, the fat man in the video used to train elite russian military units that hunt and kill jason bourne-like cia assassins. If you understand anything about the military and the seriousness in which militaries train their most elite 'counter intelligence' units, then you would know without question its real... The fat man trained the russian militaries most elite counter intelligence units. I don't know how else to explain it to you, you likely need to experience it yourself.

    These techniques are possible once one understands correct body mechanics / kinesthetic movement; and of course whole-body relaxation / breathing. "There is solid science behind the concepts of Systema." Sadly people will make uninformed judgments; with little to no understanding of the "fundamentals concepts" that make this martial art work. The techniques in the video are shown in "slow-motion" for instructional purposes only. Real-time technique is dynamically performed in a relaxed / smooth continuous flow. *Mikhail Ryabko is the official head instructor of Systema; teaching various Russian Special Operation Units.* "Yet people have the gall to say what he's teaching is fake!" Sounds like a lot of "supposed" martial arts experts out there are simply butt-hurt!

      Dirkjan No my friend, don't watch videos to think you're some kind of almighty god on the internet, come to Systema HQ, find the nearest one, go to the adult class, or better, go to a seminar with Vlad or Ryabko being the teacher, than we'll see whos right :D

    • @Z3NRage
      @Z3NRage 7 років тому +4

      +Dirkjan Quit making shitty jokes and just come and ask if you can try and hurt him, why not since you think you're so right, explaining it to a poorly raised and thought provoked moron who can't use his common sense in any situation thinks he's so right, come and visit, hell the first class is free, so you don't even have to pay to show how stupid you are, you can give yourself brain damage for free! Doesn't that sound awesome?

    • @Z3NRage
      @Z3NRage 7 років тому +2

      How do you think martial arts work, this is a training video, meaning you will obviously need to understand the basics, lol you're such a shit troll, and if you're not even trolling, well that's just sad, this is how learning to fight is taught, get the fuck over it :D

    • @Z3NRage
      @Z3NRage 7 років тому

      I don't think you've ever done an actual martial art in your entire life, you're calling me sad? Lol, you have no experience in hand to hand combat, no COMMON SENSE, you can't come up with an actual argument and can only come up with references that have no point in being in this fucking argument, go buy some dvds of systema, there's a book about how you should strike with your fist, there's over 50 dvd's who's time length are over 1 hour each, there are demonstrations, this is somewhat of a demonstration, do you really think you're going to learn from a fucking online VIDEO?!

    • @Z3NRage
      @Z3NRage 7 років тому +1

      Systema is a martial art, it's for your own benefit, there will no competition because this isn't about winning or getting a certain place, it's about defending yourself, you sad little excuse of a fucking person, it is a hybrid of any spetsnaz hand to hand combat art. You may find them online. You're "Loui Anderson" explained and showed how a person would usually try and knife you, though clearly you haven't even barely watched a fuckin single minute of the video, I know you're wrong, I've proven people like you thousands among millions of times wrong, and I'll do it again...oh, wait I already have :D

    I love and respect |Russian people and culture BUT those techniques against a knife are too slow, you cannot save yourself against a real attack using these techniques, the punching and bullying techniques of the teachers or their ballistic is ok, a bit like some friends in china, they can smash bricks to pieces using many parts of the hand and yet we must take some words of wisdom from bruce lee, 'boards don't hit back' yes you can strike bricks and smashed them or hurt compliant students but how about a moving target who wants to kill you, that I'd like to see, also he said something about taiji something like if Im training for the hundred metres why jog?
    When you move slowly in Taiji forward you move one leg to the other placing all your weight on each foot, this doesnt happen when you walk or move at speed and so the idea that what you do slowly relates to what happens at speed is nonsense, another point is that the systema techniques of evasion and attack use fine motor skill many times, when you fight nomatter how much you try to relax cortisol/adrenaline will be released and those fine motor skills go out the window, the reason these guys look good IS because they are relaxed, why? Cause they are demos and not real and therefore do not stimulate fight/flight CNS response that has taken God knows how long to evolve.

So I dont have the physical shape as before, so if somebody pulls a knife on me, at that very second I'm going to make sure that they are going to the hospital! А в реальности в горячих точках спускают курок не задумываясь особенно если в перекрестия оптики попадеться Русский.
