When this rifle first hit the shops quite a few years ago I hated it when I saw it , I got the chance to try one ,and after shooting 50 pellets ,I walked back into the shop and brought the thing,I fell in love with the way the cocking mech worked, and the fit and feel was fantastic, I owned it for around two years and it never missed a beat.
My god I love this airgun
Hello Richard, I'm always saying that I like more traditional weapons, but then I watch your video, and I get the idea that I really like it after all, it's good weapons.I liked the Air Arms Galahad and its Review, already knew this pcp and had not caught my attention, today i stayed, drooling for a.cheers.
You know you want one Luis! I hope you are well...
Thank you Richard,
Bullpups, I love them.
I have one of these in .177...Not long after i bought it i had to change the magazine indexing post because it was too weak to index the mag..I got one of those mk 2 indexing posts and job solved..Also the scope rail started to wobble from side to side slightly so i had to remove the scope and tightend the 2 allen key screws holding the rail to the gun..It started to lose zero and that is how i found out the scope rail was moving..
Would be great to see you review a BSA Defiant, Richard. I was a lover of bullpups until I experienced ownership of the BSA Defiant which had a unique regulator that provided a wonderful power curve just like a rifle without a regulator 🙄
Ended up taking it back and swapped for a Dreamline with no regrets.
Hi Matthew. I've not shot the Defiant so that may well be something we take a look at. Thanks for watching.
Always wanted a Galahad but can never bring myself to sell my trusty AA410, my first PCP.
The S410 is still an excellent rifle, I wouldn't sell it.
@@Beesa10 Never will, it's 20 years old now and still as powerful and accurate as when new
@@windy33a I have had mine for same time and just can't commit to another gun
👍 👍 👍 😜 🏴 🦄 🎣 😁 🤞 ✌️
Ps mine is the s410 carbine
Must say I love this ch layout and straight taking, we'll done keep it up,
Thanks very much. We appreciate you taking the time to send us the comment.
@@airgunextra credit where its due,
Great video as always Rich and a tidy group!👍
Cheers bud. Hope you're well?
Friend, another excellent review. It's looks may divide opinion, but as you demonstrated, you can't argue with It's accuracy.
Thanks very much and I totally agree!
Another great review richard,
I really enjoy your reviews as you have a very calming personality, and thank you for mentioning us lefties, something I wish more reviewers would do, keep the videos coming!!
Thanks very much Paul. 'm glad you're finding our videos helpful. Plenty more to come!
Hi Richard, great review as always. Very new to this and wanted to get this BP. Can u tell me what scope you have attached to this… many thanks
Thanks very much Sunny. The scope is a ZEISS Conquest V4.In fact we reviewed it here: ua-cam.com/video/vnqoS2TOHBQ/v-deo.html . It is a wonderful scope, but pricey...Thanks for watching.
Another very informative and detailed review, great job there Richard. Would you consider a review of the AGT Uragan in FAC power or perhaps the RTI Prophet again in FAC power please? All the best & stay safe
Thanks very much. I've reviewed both before for Airgun Shooter magazine, but 12 ft. lbs. They are beautifully made, the AGT particularly so. The side lever on the Prophet was a little stiff and I didn't like the way it had to be clipped back in place, but accurate? Oh yes... I'd love to get my hands on FAC versions of both to review. On the list :) . Thanks for watching and take care...
Perhaps I’m not a Marmite personality and therefore haven’t a set persuasion on traditional rifles versus bull pups, although the notion of a lever right before the butt pad strikes as problematic.
I prefer carbines to full length rifles however there are a number of bull pups or semi-bull pups which I would love to shoot.
Some of which my interest is down to your very watchable reviews, for which once again you have my thanks.
You're very welcome Stephen - thank you for watching.
Verry good air gun, sir .
..
And good quality sir.
Thanks very much for watching Purna.
Hi, have Air Arms Galahad Soft Touch .177. can you please tell me about which mount ring will fit on it. 11mm not going to work.so please guide
Hi. The Galahad comes with either a dovetail rail or Picatinny rail (looks like a series of notches/groves). If you have dovetail then 11mm mounts will fit. If you have Picatinny then you'll need 22mm Picatinny mounts. I hope that helps.
@@airgunextra realy thanks for the info sir
Make this rifle 480cc bottle fed. Give it a cocking handle thats reversible and FX style.
Its ok like it is. But do the above and it will fly off the shelves.
Hi Heath, well the cocking handle is reversible in that it can go on the other side of the rifle...
Hi Richard.Looks a lovely little rifle.
Like you say though, the safety just doesn’t do it for me on the trigger.
Apart from the that,a nice compact rifle.
Great review as usual.
Atb👍🏻😀
Thanks very much Justin...
Is there power adjustable switch on the gun to turn the power up and down ?
HI. No there's not. Thanks for watching.
Nice gun Richard, I have an HW100 Bull-Pup but this looks nice, I also have a Wolverine C, oddly, it reminds me of that to look at
I see where you're coming from Baz. Nice gun the C-type. Best looking Wolverine in my opinion. We've got a review on the HW100 BP lined up. Watch this space!
@@airgunextra i`v got a HW100 BP, look forward to seeing what you think about it. i love mine
I can't quite get past the awkward looks despite its abilities. I realise they had to have a gap between the barrel and the cylinder because of the cocking mechanism but AA should have taken the opportunity to fit a bottle. That would have helped increase shot count (especially in the fac version) and tidied up the looks
I hear you. But it really is one o those rifles that looks better in the flesh than on video/photographs. Thanks for watching.
For the price I'd expect it to come with a good scope.😃✌
If you don't hold your rifle straight, does that make you a silly can't?
Out of curiosity what does FAC mean ?
Hi Roger. Thanks for watching. Its stands for 'Firearms Certificate'. Any air rifle over 12 ft. lbs. in the UK is required to be licensed.
Sleek looking gun
Hello, any videos on what scope to use on a sub 12 airrfile
Hi. In fact we have a few videos on scopes for less than 3100 and less than £200 coming up.
@@airgunextra thanks great job
Hi what spec scope are you using h pls
Hi. It was a ZEISS V4 Conquest. 4-16x50 I believe...
@@airgunextra thank you 🙏
177 fac version would be lovely, but heavy for rabbit a talking
It's very subjective of course, but to me the Galahad just isn't a good looking rifle. I understand the bullpup appeal but still prefer the S410/S510.
You're a lover or a hater :) Does shoot great though...Thanks for watching.
@@airgunextra When it comes to making accurate, reliable rifles Air Arms know what they're doing. I'd certainly be interested to try one. All the best
Hello,just a quick message from Zeiss U.K. here.Please could you send the scope back to this address asap ;
Mr.N.Veus,
My house,
U.K.
Yours Sincerely etc etc.
🤣 On its way, first class...
@@airgunextra
Many thanks,regards Zeiss U.K.
(it worked) 😎
You just cant go far wrong with a Air Arms
Can't argue with that Andy! Thanks for watching.
Your right it shoots great. I'd just not spend all that money for something so ugly. But everyone to their own . 👍
Please get rid of the annoying music in the background
Its that or me singing Jeff...
Maybe it's doing a good job, but to me this rifle is absolutely ugly.😣
Shite gun, worst air arm's have produced. Bulky, ugly , loud and massively overpriced, the cocking system I did like but other than that rubbish. Just my own personal opinion of course.
