I got the Thanksgiving one, with Snoopy and Woodstock as Pilgrims (since this one with the leaf pile was sold out). I'm impressed. I guess I got lucky, because the second hand hits the marks 90% of the time. I like that the dial has a subtle shimmer to it when in sunlight, and the artwork is crisp. The strap is great. Honestly, Timex has some really good watches of late. Simple, fun, wear well. I can't ask for much more really.
I went from browsing Omega Seamaster's to watching this (and coming away wanting one). I love the spectrum of being a watch enthusiast. Haha. This would pair nicely with my original 1965 Snoopy Red Baron coffee mug!
Do people under 40 relate to snoopy and woodstock? The famous Charlie Brown Christmas cartoon (a must see - it is the season) was first shown in 1965 - that puts Charlie Brown Lucy and Snoopy in closer to boomer age range. When I was a kid in the 1970s, Snoopy was still big. And then the 1980s saw all new kinds of cartoons on TV (really crappy animation if you ax me) and all the snoopy and charlie brown cartoons were early 1970s. So I guess I have to ask - *is this Timex aimed for the older folks* ?? Also, this Timex release is at the same time as the spendy OMEGA Snoopy dial that's ten times this price. With the leaves on the dial this Timex a nice design - I expected some part of the characters (like the arms) to move, but it's nice as is...
Hi! First of all thank you for making this informative about this watch. I was looking hopelessly looking purchase this watch for someone very special in my life but in their website it was all sold out. I e-mailed them but they said it’s out of stock and perhaps I should buy others ones which I don’t like. I know this is an unusual request but would you be so kind to sell this one to me? if there is no use for you anymore. I would ❤️ to purchase this for my best friend for his gift 🎁. Thank you so much!!!
That's a lot of money for what you get. You can get swatch for that kind of money. You can get Casio edifice efr-108d with sapphire. A lot of better options in this price range.
I never can understand these arguments. Someone interested in this watch will be interested in it for what THIS watch offers. They want a watch with Snoopy on it, jumping in a pile of leaves. Why would they want a Casio Edifice instead? Does that watch have Snoopy on it jumping in a pile of leaves? The same sorts of arguments were made about the Timex Q last year. "Why get that when you can get an automatic Orient for less money?" Um.... Because maybe people want a vintage style quartz watch instead of an automatic? It's really not a difficult concept. Watches are more than what their stats say. You also buy them for how they make you feel. "Why have a Vanilla ice cream cone when you can have this piece of pie instead? It's homemade!" Because sometimes you want ice cream. Simple.
@@caomhan84 If you like snoopy go for it but if it's not so important for you there are much better options than this. More reliable, more fun(Casio, swatch) more of everything, for the same kind of money.

I absolutely love this in multiple ways! By chance do you know if there's anywhere I can still buy it?
Quartz hacking when you you pulled the crown
One year later and I cant find one to buy. I wish they made more of these.
In case you're still looking, they're in stock right now!
@@flashyteacozy thank you! Unfortunately, I'm in the UK, not the USA. But if they're restocked there, maybe they will be here soon!
