I cant wait to be a part of your paid followers. I should be able to soon I hope. Like I said in my last comment, my first necklace sold just yesterday, and its very exciting, bc you've taught me EVERYTHING I know!! Thanks so very much!!
I love watching your channel it's so informative and your speaking voice is so calming .. I would love to buy you a coffee Steve but I'm a bit tight for money at the moment 😀
OhmyDog!!! This is so cool! I still say you are a genuis Steve. The ideas you come up with and you make it so nice and detailed when you teach. I can tell you are a professor. Your students must love you.
Beautiful! Stained glass always makes me think of my mom who would always point them out whenever we saw them as a child. Grew up in Boston and there were Many many churches and homes with stained glass! You could also do this on the glass from the frame right? I’ll have to look into that leading stuff! Thanks again for a beautiful idea!
I just discovered you today ! I live in the USA and you are so talented and have a great sense of humor! Thank you so much for your educational and entertaining videos! I am new to epoxy resin and I am using alot of it with my pour painting canvases, coasters, small trays. I haven't used any molds yet but you have inspired me to do so !!
Brilliant idea 💡 I've only just discovered you, but I've watched so many of your videos already 😃 I have learnt so much! I used some resin earlier and found myself using some of your tips and tricks. Just wanted to say thank you so much for your inspiration ☺ I've sent you a little something to help towards your preasure pot fund and to say an extra thank you 💜
I've been having a blast watching your videos since I discovered your channel. I've watched thousands of videos but watching you in action makes everything so much more doable. I love this stained glass effect. Thanks Steve!🥰
@@SteveMcDonaldArtsandCrafts I'm pouring the colors in today, fingers crossed! I let it dry overnight even though it seemed hard last night. I will definitely be using pipettes! 😁
I was wondering if you have tried to use parchment paper on this project and what the results were? Specifically, I am curious to know if the project had a shiny or matte finish on the back? Thank you for your time and expertise!
Thanks for this video! I'm curious about what's going on at the bottom of the butterfly. It looks like a purple spill on the left and black water on the right. Is that from the white resin mixing with the lead because you didn't even use purple on the butterfly? Did that happen while it was curing so it couldn't be fixed? Thanks for the help.
could you repeat this with twine and black acrylic? Dip the acryllic in paint or ink and let dry. Then outline the image perhaps on clear packaging tape?
Hi. I love this idea, than you for sharing it! Your piece seemed a little flexible when it was finished. Was that just because it needed a little more cure time? I'm wondering if these would eventually get stiff enough that you could add hangers and hang them in a window like a stained glass suncatcher? Would it be necessary to form it inside some type of frame as a bezel?
Hi Steve, I love all your videos and ideas! You are such a funny guy, would love to meet you. I'm new working with resin, can you paint clear casted resin afterwards? Please help, Thanks 😊
Steve, I would like to use this technique to make a "stained glass" house number to go on the inside of the glass transom over my front door so pizza guys can find my house in the dark, the house numbering is mad where I live! Should I use the acetate or the wax paper method & how would you suggest sticking it to the window? Doesn't have to be permanent.
Steve, thank you so much for inspiring me. I don’t have many followers, but I’ve given you a shout out on Instagram with one of the 3 light boxes I made after seeing this. (@inkyimaginings if you would like to look). I doubt you will see this, but thank you for your videos they are fantastic. 🙂
My daily dose of Steve!! If you don't have a new video, I rewatch an old one!!
I love Steve! Sometimes I wish I could BE Steve!
Once again Steve, you have hit a Home Run with this project.
Wow the butterflies are gorgeous with the leading & resin. What a great idea to put the lights behind it. Would make a great child’s night light 💕💕

Oooo! Lights! I like it!
I really enjoy learning new things from you. Mostly I have realized that continuing with resin requires better preparation and safety equipment.
OMGosh!!! These would be adorable in kids rooms!! What a fantastic idea!
Love Flutterbys as my Nan used to call them
Oh my you must be sooo patient- great video! 👍
Looking good these days Mr. McDonald. Super human speed! Love it, thanks for sharing. 8-)

Wow! Steve you are incredibly talented!! Thats such a great idea!!! Love it!
Another brilliant idea that I think I might actually be able to do. Especially love the addition of the lights! Time to buy you another coffee! 😊
Oh, that's absolutely brilliant!
Good way to pass the time and make something nice I like that really cool
That turned out beautifully!
What a great idea with the little lights! Love the idea of the whole piece! Would definitely make for great gifts! Thank you for sharing!

They're beautiful Steve :)
I am so glad I discovered your channel. You make things clear and simple. And I love the "because I don't want to" part!
I love it! Another project I'll have to do!
Gosh. I was thinking of trying something like this the other day! But wasn’t sure how to go about it. Thank you so much! :)
Flutterby love them so much great video as always
Yet again brilliant idea and your video makes it easy to follow.... love the warp 10 speed lol..as always thanks Steve x
OMGoodness! That looks like a Tiffany night light I have! It’s so pretty, I’m definitely going to attempt this! Thanks for the inspiration, Steve! 💜
Really lovely, Steve!

Just ordered the book. Thank you!

Beautiful thx so very much Steve appreciate you 🙌🏻🙌🏻❤️
Brilliant idea, and I’m thinking that would also be lovely in a tray!
Thanks Steve. I love this project and some day I hope to do it. I’m into resin pouring and plaster O Paris making. Keep up the great work.
Wow very beautiful 💙💜💙
This is so creative
Enjoyed the video. Thank you
Brilliant idea!
What a fantastic idea, I love this, thank you for the inspiration! ❤️
I do with UV resin. I add cornstarch to resin to make a clay and do leading lines. Then cure them as I go. No need to buy leading!
Great video as always xx

love it Steve - you never disappoint with your amazing creations - thank you x
Where do you get your ideas from? Amazing result. Thank you 😊
Beautiful
trying something like this today/tomorrow. Wonder how it would look if directly done on the glass. thanks Steve
Absolutely love your videos did you use a UV resin at first? Or a mixed resin…thank you
That's really pretty! Since resin will get yellowish if it's in the sunlight, what can you do to keep that from happening?
Looks great
Love this!!!! ❤️
Thank you for the information on releasing the resin from the molds. Yes it is a resin candle but it has fairy lights inside of the resin?
Super clever!!
I love this one....🥰😍🥰😍🥰
Thank you! Wishing I had time to get the leading 🤣 using pebeo cerne relief and hoping it works!

Could you do a flood of the back to make it shiny.

Thats beautiful Steve I have tried fonding the liquid lead and no one has it in stock
have you tried clicking on the amazon links in the description Steve does? I did and got mine...hope that helps

This is awesome! I can’t wait to try it :) What kind of epoxy do you use? Also, what do you use to clean your tools like bowls droppers etc?
could you repeat this with twine and black acrylic? Dip the acryllic in paint or ink and let dry. Then outline the image perhaps on clear packaging tape?

@@SteveMcDonaldArtsandCrafts Great, thank you, I'll try that!
Just watched a tutorial last 🌃 ght that used 100% acetone with the 100% silicone caulking to make a pourable mould
Would this work on glass?
Other's might have said this already, but instead of wax paper, you might try parchment paper. I don't think that would leave a residue.
If u want the back shiny too clear coat it.
I just realized you sound like the teacher in the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Lol
Could you get closer to your mic please
