Using grass to move it isn't too bad
Depends how deep the water table is..very well done.
It looks like the water is very close to surface. He poured just a little and stayed full for a while. also, with only 4 panel you cannot have more than 2kw. and I do not think, that you can have that debit with 2kw from 5 or 10 meters deep.
Anyway, the setup proves how good solar panels are.

A solar pumping system can have a lower capital cost because it provides a localized power generation source. Just compare the price of a solar pumping system with having to power a pump from the electricity grid in locations where connection to the grid may require installing kilometers of poles and wires from the nearest grid supply point to the pump location. What od you think?

If you put a pipe for de the discharge in the leve of soil you have more eficient. Now you spend a los of energy to elevate the water 1 meter, you can transform this energy in more flor whit a simple pipe discharging on the soil level.
