More kids should be encouraged to have pets to teach them responsibility and care for others. What a smart Mom to give her daughter Cindy to look after! No worries about her getting into drugs and other bad habits.
When you get an animal from a shelter you will save two animals cuz u r giving one a home and making more room at the shelter to rescue more animals 😊😊😊
I adopted a rescue pony from the blue cross. She had been beaten and was extremely flighty and you couldn't go anywhere near her face. When the RSPCA picked her up and took her to the equine hospital she spent 10 months there and nearly lost her life. She was then sent to the blue cross and was adopted for 2 months but was sent back because she was "uncontrollable" we then got her and we had her. We spent months working on her confidence. We are now doing dressage, ridden and in hand showing and practising freestyle Dressage to music. She was 14 when we got her and we have of had her for 4 years on 19th of June. Every neglected or beaten pony deserves another chance at life. You should definitely look on the adoption pages first when getting a horse or pony. Let them have a fresh start. Nobody deserves to be left to die.
People don't often think about folks "losing their confidence" via a fall or work with an unsuitable mount. WHW is a great answer to this problem and provides many more new homes
I believe that you need to just, well, click with that certain horse/pony that shows the best in you. When I got Dylan, we were a perfect match. I'm glad that Cindy and her new owner clicked.
This seems like a lovely and wonderful place to rehome a horse. I’m glad UA-cam recommended this video to me! To be very honest, I’ve always wanted a horse, but, of course, my family/parents have never had the land or money to care/buy one, unfortunately. I’m just happy that Cindy got a lovely home and that she and her new owner get along so well. xx
I used to be so nervous! It was around 1/2 years ago I think? Trust me never give up and someday u will be confident again! Now I'm in competitions and jumping much higher! I felt rlly happy watching this cuz it reminded me of myself when I was at a nervous stage except I would cry when riding I hated horseriding! but she was so happy to be riding which I loved 💖🐎
I want to get a horse, I've been riding for 5 years but my Dad doesn't think that we will be able to afford it so I might suggest this to him. Does anyone have any tips if I'm ok to rehome a rescue horse?
I guess people just think they don't grow. I rode a lesson pony for two years, he was 14hh. I was 5 foot 4 at the time and fit him fine, then I just sprouted up and grew to 5 foot 7. I was too big for him, but now I ride a 16hh OTTB who I love to death. :) But i'm glad we didn't buy the pony cause I would've outgrown him!
+Asriel Dreemurr Depends, most of my friends have kept the pony and just loaned them out to family friends. I unfortunately didnt get a pony when young but still ride 13-14hh at age 27 :)
It is so amazing what word horse welfare dose. I have three minis ponies that I show and love. I think that word horse welfare shows what real horse man ship should look like. More people need to be like the world horse welfare!
TO ALL OF YOU EQUINES OUT THERE WANTING A PONY. 1 word, work, work, work. ride as much as possible on as many horses as possible, get that experience, be eager. and for the love of God don't nag your parents. it wont come in a couple days, weeks or months. maybe in a year or two. don't let that put you off! you may not loan a horse outside your front door in a barn with rows of stables, or a golden pasture with dandelions that flow in the breeze. you could be there at the riding school with snobby kids and naughty ponies. don't let that stop you! keep riding, keep smiling and keep trying! I PROMISE you, that dream pony will come. might not be your first or your 10th. it will happen. trust me.
I like this video but one thing that just bugs me is that the young girl in the video looks like she’s still growing so I don’t see the point of her getting a pony she’ll outgrow (this happens to my friend)
Best horse rehoming charity in world hoping to rehome a horse after covid LOL.XD they will help you find the right horse for you and give you honest facts about health conditions yay CAN'T WAIT TO REHOME A horse soon!!
i wish i could adopt a horse from you guys too bad i live in the US :( i still love the fact that you guys go out of your way to make sure these animals get the life they deserve. well done!!
I just rescued a pony yesterday and I can’t wait to see her next weekend. I named her Rose because most of my family has the middle name rose. (A rescue is America)
I looked at a pony at a rescue centre. It wasn’t the best match although she was a brilliant pony, she was about 3-4 and a little green and considering I was a novice.
Am I the only one who finds it rude of how people sell their pony because they out grow them? Their horses they don't have to be ridden they are pretty, beautiful and people thinks its a waste of a horse if you can't ride them. Shame on you peeps😒
I was thinking the same thing. It would have been nice for her to get a pony that was a bit bigger as it wouldn't take long for her to outgrow Cindy. She is a lovely little girl and a pretty rider. Cindy is beautiful as well. Good for you both, hope it goes well for a long time.
Cindy Potter! She has a lightning shape on her forehead, haha. Glad to see she got a nice home. I hope I'll be able to re-home a horse one day, but now isn't the right time.
Dear @TheMellinr1 Thanks for your comment, as it says in the video Bracken had just been brought into the box to be groomed and tacked up, it is our usual practice to have absorbant bedding alongside the rubber matting for any horse that is to spend long periods of time in a box.
I think cindy and her Lipkes Great together but i think i wolle have picked the other one, behause she looked more chill and fluffy and Bigger than Cindy🙈❤️ But it was her choice so i think she made the Right decision for her 👌
More kids should be encouraged to have pets to teach them responsibility and care for others. What a smart Mom to give her daughter Cindy to look after! No worries about her getting into drugs and other bad habits.
the horse behind her stole the spotlight
When you get an animal from a shelter you will save two animals cuz u r giving one a home and making more room at the shelter to rescue more animals 😊😊😊
I lived in the UK I would soooo adopt a horse from this company 😩
Yay I live in uk

I wish I had the money to do that I really want Samson !
did anyone else notice Sydney's marking is like Harry Potter's lightning scar?!
I want to get a horse, I've been riding for 5 years but my Dad doesn't think that we will be able to afford it so I might suggest this to him. Does anyone have any tips if I'm ok to rehome a rescue horse?
Isnt it more suitable to get an actual horse over a pony for a child? Theyll outgrow a pony, but not a horse.

Thank you for perfect care of the horses in need.
But if we adopt a horse, are they ours? Or are we kinda 'loaning' them?
