I’ll always remember Tim Woods being maybe the nicest wrestler I ever met. He would take time to meet and greet children and give autographs. He would smile and chat with us and seemed to be a very genuine guy.
The Masked SuperStar. One of my favorites. I was like 10 years old and seen him and Ole Anderson wrestle the Masked Assassins at the Cobb Civic Center. Those were good times when Wrestling was great. He would stand outside the entry when he was the baby face and talked to everybody who approached him. Never forgot the moment. Big fan of Bill ever since.
Best masked wrestlers to step in the ring: Masked Superstar, Wrestling I and II and Don Jardine. The Super Destroyer/The Spoiler in my humble opinion. All knew how to get their opponents over and sell like no others!!!
The first match I ever really paid attention to was Mr.Wrestling (Tim Woods) against El Mongol managed by Dandy Jack Crawford in Atlanta in 1967 on tv and Mr.Wrestling won over the “evil heal”. When Tim took the mask off before the world championship match it was in 1973 in Atlanta against Harley Race. In 1974 after him and Wrestling 2 had been partners 2 turned on Tim and they had a match were it was the mask vs the hair and Tim lost and the next day on Georgia Championship Wrestling Tim showed up wearing the mask as Mr.Wrestling No.1. Then they got back together to face Gene and Ole Anderson.
Has him ever done an interview and not mentioned “midnight and the rock n roll”?😂😂😂 Bill is such a superstar, one of the longest careers in wrestling, all over the world he drew money. The term Legend gets used way to much but Bill Eadie was without question the real deal.
Well, considering he is trying to relate to the person he is interviewing, and R&R vs ME is the biggest rivalry he ever had- kinda hard to just ignore it....
@@jaythor70 I like him, one of the greatest guys in the industry, it doesn’t matter who he’s talking too, he always mentions the midnight and it’s become a trademark of his interviews
@@dachronicalalittlebitofeve6630 He does, but man those matches were amazing. The midnight vs the rock and roll really set those crowds on fire. The pop when the Rock N Roll's music would hit was legendary!
The mask superstar should have been world champion he was a great wrestler
