It's not because he's a guard, it's because of his defense (he's been a decent defender the past 2 years, but still no where near all defense level) and his lack of fmvps in comparison to others in the top 10. The only other 1 way players in the top 10 are magic, who saved the league along with bird, has more mvps and more fmvps, and Russell, who has almost twice as many rings as Jordan
@@michaelbietsch2864 bro that’s just something to judge. We’re talking about that changed the game. He was drawing double teams at the hash mark. He forced teams to focus more on the trey ball to be able to compete. I 4x champion. Same team his entire career. Best shooter of all time. He deserves more credit than he receives.
@@yomomsahoe5797 It's called logic. MPJ practiced with Steph for 5-6 days at a time. He took about 2-3 minutes to cover what they did in working out. There are also videos of other things Steph does to feed his muscle memory.
@@yomomsahoe5797 Also, there are clips of some of Curry's workouts. Steph also shows some of his workouts in his Under Armour training camps. Of course, Steph isn't showing all his stuff. We have seen clips of Steph dribbling a basketball and juggling a tennis ball in his other hand. There is enough coverage of Steph on the internet to know there is a lot more to Steph's workout than what was said here.
@John Le You ever looked at MJ's 3-point shooting percentage? It sucked. He couldn't change the game because he didn't have the skill. Curry has revolutionized the game. through the force of his unparalleled skill set. That's right, he hasn't merely changed the game, he has revolutionized it. MJ's 3-point shooting percentage: .327. Curry's? .428 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a perfect addition to the last bit about players not missing in practice, I watched a full workout of lebron and dwight together doing shooting drills a couple years ago, and just on a 3pt shooting drill where they would shoot off the catch in an around the world style, dwight howard shot 17/20, lebron shot 16/20, he won by one, and in every other shooting drill it was tight knit just like that percentage wise with lebron winning some and dwight winning others.
craziest steph story came out last offseason where they said steph does these full court shooting drills and then when he's gassed he lays down, his trainer puts weight on steph's diaphragm to literally train the muscle that helps you get your breath back faster. that's part of why he's got so much more energy than other ppl at the end of games.
I want Kuminga to be like a prime time Shawn Marion meets Joe Johnson just more athletic ... I like his upside ...that alone will make a major difference alongside Wiseman and Poole has proven himself and can only get better .
Steph 14-15 season and 16!!?? It was like a video game. He backed off a bit to let KD in I’ll always fault him for that. Too unselfish of a teammate. He’s back it now tho last 2 years. But had he kept that going he’s top 3 for me and still might be.
They do have a close relationship, he was also in Steph's basketball camps, most of these young players I've seen at his camps way before they got drafted...Anthony Edwards, James Wiseman, Jalen Green, Nico Mannion, Michael Bibby Jr., Dennis Smith Jr. and so on, and has had private work out sessions with Luka for years that no one is supposed to know about but that picture got released of Steph having a "private" workout with Luka and Jalen Green before Green came into the league. It says so much about the kind of person and the type of professional athlete he is, he wants everyone to be great and will help you in any way he can without an ounce of a selfish ego in him. That is the real greatness🐐
Richard Jefferson is definitely a smart dude, but he is such a narcissist. Loves to hear himself talk, take credit for stuff, and say things like.."you and I both know how XYZ is, but tell the normal people how we do it..." its a equalizing way to speaking where you bolster yourself to the level of the important person who is there because people want to hear from him. Richard, stop taking yourself so seriously bro.
I honestly don’t like the fact he’s not in the arguments for the goat bc he’s a guard. That man single handedly changed the game as we knew it.

Russell is the greatest defender of all time
No, he's not in the goat Convo because there are at least 3 players with clearly better resumes and arguably better peaks.
Steph the greatest shooter ever 🔥 & MPJ a great player glad he’s healthy 🙏🏾
This was one of the most informative behind the curtain interviews I’ve seen in a while. Nothing monumental but just read info.
And what’s crazy is that’s far from all he does, MPJ can only reveal soo much. That full court 9/10 drill is crazy insane. 💀☠️☠️
There's a lot more that Steph does than what he mentioned.
How tf you know
He won't say everything. He goes there regularly

Great interview. A lot of information to unpack
Steph the GOAT.

Spot shooting is ubiquitous but off dribble shooting is the distinction between shooter and any other style

Steph Curry is like a video game player/character in real life. Like NBA Jams/NBA2K rating 90 - 100 that's Steph Curry 🔥💦🏀.
Like the great Dr. J said about Steph "even the video games don't measure up to him" 💀

Damn star drill full court 😢😢😢
We talking bout practice?
Not the game
Iverson rather went to the club
Steph has 72% true shooting
They are both Chritian. he like Curry in Faith their friendhip make
That does not make sense. It's not correlated.
