  • Amazing work - The sound of conveyor belts transporting rock - Ying1
    Roller conveyor is understood as a system consisting of rollers that are firmly connected to each other to support and transport goods in modern industrial production industries. This system can be used for light to very heavy products. At the same time, it also works very well in dusty or corrosive chemical environments. In the video is a conveyor belt transporting cobblestone
    Usually, people use roller conveyors to move goods with flat and hard bottoms

    This seems to be one of the easiest unloads I've seen these guys do. The round stones are flowing like sand through an hour glass. Not taking anything away from these workers.... they obviously work hard, doing this day after day. Respect!!

      This work is incredibly dangerous and this dude is working without any safety equipment at all. If this was in the US OSHA would should them down. This isn't amazing work.. its a death trap!

      If you watch a lot of these unloads, you'll notice that the larger the aggregate size, the smoother they unload. Large round river stone flows well, coal is a bit clumpy but flows well, & sand is sticky & stubborn. The boats that use water hose assist are also better off than those that use scraper poles, everything falls & flows better when wet.

      @@ptasiek65 I would guess there is someone, off screen, who can stop the conveyor almost instantly if one of these guys slips.
      The biggest danger is hearing damage.

    • @ptasiek65
      @ptasiek65 Рік тому

      @@andreblanchard8315 Of course. The scraper conveyors are completely hidden in the housing. We only see a tiny piece [1/4], the working part itself. Even if it falls, it will ride it a meter or two. A normal conveyor belt would have torn his arm or leg during this time. They have one disadvantage, they are terribly heavy and expensive.

    This is a great metaphor.
    Stones represent us. Some larger and others SMALLER.
    The conveyor belt is time dragging us forward and along.
    The workers on top and both sides equal Fate, nudging us this way and that.
    And last the barge is humanity's whole. A massive collective with but one single purpose!
    So often we fail to take note but maybe should try harder to see and understand.
