Why should women necessarily wear makeup and not men …why should it matter? It’s all just a social construct. Long ago it was men who wore ruffles, lace, velvet, and adorned themselves. Think of the peacock in nature, or other tropical birds. It is the male of the species with flamboyant plumage. Conchita should simply be appreciated for her talent. Forgive me, I just believe people should be accepted for however they choose to show up in the world, not derided or made to feel like they must conform in to be successful.
