Nishant should consider himself lucky that Kia Sonet had a 6 months waiting which drove him to the decision of buying Slavia. I purchased Kia Sonet for my wife last year and though it’s feature rich and has a premium feel it lacks the basic driving dynamics and has a super stiff suspension which on most drives triggers a head ache for me. I’m considering replacing Sonet with Slavia now. Lovely review BTW 🙂
Love the toxic negativity coming from butthurt Skoda/vw haters. Kushaq and Taigun also scored 5 star in Gncap with updated norms. Slavia/ Virtus are also on the same platform, so mediocre build quality argument just got thrown out of the window

Bro, unless you are looking for a high performance car, and are fine with going a little higher on the maintenance, 1 ltr will work just fine. DSG gearboxes are still being imported, and if you do decide to go for 1.5 DSG, please take complete details of whether or not warranty covers it. Might be rumors, but I've heard they're not covering it. Please update me with the same once you get any information on this.
In city traffic 1.0 L has better pick up than 1.5 L as 1.5 L deactivates 2 cylinders on low speeds and 1.0 L runs on 3. On highways 1.5 is a yday faster

And 1.5L is anytime better then 1.0L It is giving more power, more milega(as 1L it on 3 cyl everytime n 1.5l goes from 4 to 2 in city n on highways while on constant speed producing more fuel economy than 1.0L) My Friends got 1L getting 8 kmpl avg n I having 1.5L producing 8.5 to 9 in city n 11 on highways (note this is before 15k service after that city milega will be 11 to 12 n highway 15 kmpl (in 1.5L) ) Currently driven 7k km (7000 km) 60% city 40% highway

Guy in the video here. I'm a fairly new driver, so my terminologies were not on point. so talking of bumper to bumper, i meant a mix of moderate to heavy traffic. If talking of purely Bumper to bumper, during peak hours, it tends to be lower.

However, we were looking for an automatic, so I felt that city's cvt just wasn't as good as Slavia's torque converter. Plus, honda city's interiors weren't something that I really vibed with. Some others might have a different opinion. I had simultaneously booked the ehev as well, but ultimately went for Slavia 1 ltr AT because the ehev was way out of budget.

@@vijuvlogs screens, semi conductor chips, and such. These things are almost always imported. Also, had an experience with Skoda. My left fender and front door got damaged, had to get both panels replaced. Cost me arnd 22000 inclusive of all costs. The car was delivered back in 5 days.

Got the 1L and its been almost a week now. Can strongly tell that 1L is sufficient unless you want even more power and performance go for a 1.5L.
