- We were saddened to learn this morning of the passing of Mandisa, 47, at her Nashville home.
You may know Mandisa as a former American Idol contestant, a Grammy-award winning artist, and a Platinum-selling singer with hits like "Overcomer," "Stronger," "Unfinished," "Good Morning," and many more.
But if you ever had the honor of seeing her in concert, or even meeting her, you experienced the way she could fill a room with joy and laughter. Mandisa always felt like a friend to us, and we've compiled a few of the outstanding memories we shared with her over the years.
No way !!!😢 God give peace and hope to all her family and friends.
My heart is so broken by the loss of Mandisa. Beautiful inside and out. Her voice sent shivers up my spine in concert. Thank you WGTS for sharing Mandisa with us.
While on American Idol I knew you had something special and did not disappoint. God gave us a gift with your presence. Your departure from this world was too soon.😢❤🙏✝️

I love Mandisa because she has a beautiful voice and I listened to her music everyday on WGTS 91.9
