  • From the heights of Montmartre in Paris, trumpeter Lucienne Renaudin Vary and accordionist Félicien Brut play "Le Temps des Cerises" ("The Time of Cherries"), a legendary love song composed in 1866 by Antoine Renard with lyrics by Jean-Baptiste Clément and reimagined in this duet version by Domi Emorine.
This is a taste of their new program "The Perfect Match", which they will perform in concerts beginning in June 2023. It will be entirely devoted to love: the loves of yesterday and today, the perhaps bygone era of romances, and new ways of meeting through swipes, likes, and matches. It will include songs as well as extracts from operas and musicals and an original new work by Fabien Waksman.
