Corey Linsley is going to retire this offseason, so the chargers will have to draft or sign a center in FA too. He just redid his contract, so he'll probably be a post June 1st cut/designated retired.

Rams are gonna extend Donald, restructure Kupp and Stafford, cut Noteboom, re-sign Dotson Shelton Jackson Witherspoon Fuller Hoecht, and then sign Henry, a Burnes/Allen type, and if possible more secondary help at CB and safety. then draft heavily on the d-line and in the secondary

For KC - I would go LT at rd 1 and hopefully lock that down at a cheap price for next few years… especially since your already paying big $ to Thuney, Taylor and creed and trey in the fold (prob ext creed and let trey go)… this makes it so you can pay 3/5 guys and keep 2/5 cheap
As much as I love Troy Franklin - I would just draft 2 in the 2nd/mid rounds and then sign a veteran like Boyd, Samuel, Bourne, Mooney…
I think if they keep Wilson as starter then they will discover that between him and Peyton was some growing pains and I believe that's all it was.
Peyton is use to having a Brees/Cousins type of quarterback while Wilson is different and both needed an adjustment period in order to mesh...
The good news for the seahawks is Leonard Williams played well. The bad news is the rest of the team didn't and they lost a ton of games late in the year.
If the 49ers want to win the Superbowl next year, why would they trade their best receiver for a rookie? The chemistry between Purdy and Aiyuk is special and will only get better. Offensive line needs talent. Shanahan thinks he can scheme around bad pass blocking. Keep all the best players and invest heavy in O-line. Imagine how much better Purdy can be with a top 10 pass blocking O-line. Check out the x-y chart for QB EPA/drop back and pass block win rate. Lol

O-line makes sense. Really solid group that's going to get better. Dotson Avila Jackson Shelton Havenstein are all good players. Keep Jackson Shelton Dotson, draft a LT to compete there

I think Peyton knows exactly what he wants in a quarterback to fit what he does, which Russell Wilson didn’t. I think if that player is available this draft he will go for it unless it say one or two but I think he will do it because they have enough of a team now to be successfuland they have the money for free agency

Russ has something like $39m guaranteed from the Broncos - i.e. they are paying him $39m to play for someone else - so if another team stumps up more than vets minimum, all that does is effectively become a rebate to the Broncos. Russ gets about $40m whatever happens, even if he doesn't play.
Height advantages translate better to the NFL. Better than height deficits translate to basketball. Many great HS basketball players at 5’10 got the NFL picked for them.
If they were taller. A bunch of them may have been in the NBA. Quite a few WR’s could probably play “ok” in the NBA. Which is a reasonable standard.
If Gonzalez, Gates, Peppers etc where taller. Very well may have been in the NBA. They had great height in the NFL. But would have been at a disadvantage every night because of a lack of height in the NBA.
Jordan Travis has been my development guy I’ve liked the most, but now I’m hearing he’s gonna go in the 2nd. I just don’t think we will take a backup QB in the 2nd. We probably shouldn’t. I just don’t believe in Kyler long term.
Raiders must also address the O-line: Andre James (C) and Jermaine Elumenor (RT) both going to free agency.
🤔 How did they "Mess him around" ? (Chris Jones).. He Was Under Contract! If anything, Chris messed the Chiefs around & kept them from signing a sure handed veteran @ WR🥴...it still turned out good, & we all love Chris, but but had it gone sideways,...well, I am not convinced that fans would be as concerned about keeping both Chris & L'Jarius 🤷♂️...🤔 If they do resign Chris, it needs to be another incentive laden contract (imho)

If you give up 2 first round picks for a older QB and a first round for a coach that was a complete embarrassment and lackluster play calling then you do all you can to get someone like Drake Maye

sam is right about the broncos should bottom out. it is long overdue for them to do so. the problem is payton's willingness to do so. granted with that roster it should happen but even with the 2023 season they should have bottomed out but had the 5 game winning streak which screwed it all up
They should keep Wilson as starter then trade the 1st rounder all the way out of the round.
Peyton is a good talent evaluator especially after the 1st round so there's no need to scrap the season...

How are you guys possibly “out” on a freaky athletic edge rusher with an 89.3 pass rush grade in the SEC.
And “in” on a guy with 90.8 pass rush grade in the ACC who is 2 years older.
That feels like a very marginal line to draw. Especially when comparing Dallas to Tyree Wilson and Travon Walker who both had grades in the 70s and were old
The Euro needs to let the anointing someone deal go. Bradshaw, Plunket, Gannon, DeBerg the list is endless of guys who weren't great out of the gate.
On the Chargers, keep Mack and trade Bosa for a ham sandwich. And then Williams and Kendricks get axed. Keeping Keenan is a no brainer and Linsley is retiring due to heart issues.
49ers missed their window. They’ll take one more shot while Purdy is cheap, then they’re going young. Such a bummer. They had the team the last two years. So much bad luck.

Titans made that decision with AJ Brown cus they couldnt affort his payrate, nor wanted to. Thats why they took that 1st round + 3rd, hoping to replace him with another WR on Burks, but he sucks! Special WRs dont grow on trees. We can affort Aiyuk and another big name as well cus we have Purdy in a barggain right now. If we are going to trade someone will be until next year between Greenlaw or Hufanga (with all my hearth broken for that)

Man as a Charger fan i have never seen such an incompetant head coach as Brandon Staley. Do not get fooled by thinking Herbert is not a top three QB in this league as everyone thought after his rookie season. Brandon Staley destroyed this football team. Absolutely no defense, no running game, no offensive line, all slow old receivers that were always out injured, then the team literally quit on Brandon Staley as they had no respect for him. This team will change under Harbaugh and we will see Herbert like we did in his rookie year. Also lets not forget Herbert played with fractured ribs in 2022 and 8 weeks with a broken finger then missed the rest of the season with another broken finger. Staley was a nightmare, glad he will be doing his downward dog pregame stretched for someone else.
The Broncos have never ever been the worst team and picked 1st pick, ever.. not once, and it's something they pride themselves on. So... they wouldn't do that.

Orlando Brown was never that good. He made Pro Bowls on his QB and team. He could never be left alone on an island with any decent end
Chris Jones should be tagged and the 32 million cap number should be worked around in 2024. Chris Jones is not replaceable. Then do your best to sign sneed long term. No brainer
Tagging Jones is INSANE! If he won’t take 27-29M per let him walk and enjoy losing to end his career. You can’t replace him but you can’t overpay either! Chiefs have been the best in the NFL at working the cap when you feel your QBs cap hit. DL takes a massive hit if he walks especially because of 90 tearing his ACL. But with the back end ROCK SOLID with Cook and Johnson coming back you can weather it. Neither Jones or Sneed can get top of market but if they want to be here they’ll be reasonable

I’m an actually fan of the team, I am very well aware of Jones impact. When Mahomes and Kelce are both underpaid BY CHOICE he can’t expect to reset the market going into his age 30 season. You can’t replace him but you can survive without him!

Letting Chris Jones walk away when you can still tag him for 32 million for one season doesn’t make any sense considering you’re trying to win a third championship in a row which is never been done before. Just tag him for one year. Get his age 30 season and then let him walk next year if he doesn’t want to take a reasonable deal.

You have to make the franchise tag decision before hand, so if you let Chris Jones go into free agency, he’s gone there are teams that will pay him insane amount of money. Chris Jones was almost all of our past rush last year, and even George Karlaftis benefited from his double teams we cannot let him get away when we’re trying to keep him for his age 30 season at a high salary cap number and work around it move some of the other money from the other players into 2025 by restructuring or resigning

The Chiefs have the youngest and best defense in the NFL! They can get 28-32M from Mahomes contract, 10M cutting MVS, 10M cutting Reid, restructure Thuney and Taylor. They have plenty of cap space to access if they want to bring back Jones and Sneed. Neither can reset the market though. Jones 3Y/87M, 75 guaranteed. Sneed 4Y/70M, 55 guaranteed. If Jones wants to chase money let him enjoy losing with the Panthers to end his career! Mitchell or Franklin at 32 would be nice fits at WR and Paul or Jones at OT. The best team in the NFL has major flexibility while all the other AFC ‘contenders’ have massive cap or QB problems!!

I don’t think they will either. It’s just an option. With Cook coming back and Connor playing well they’d be fine letting him go. You’d only do that if you were going to go big game hunting in FA though

I am not a fan of the spot the Chargers are in at all. Bottom 5 cap situation in the league. Aging and fragile roster. I wont even talk about greg roman but simply put that is a genuinely stupid and ignorant hiring. This feels like they are headed towards mediocrity and irrelevance at best and a complete meltdown and teardown 5 year rebuild at worst. Always liked the Chargers LT21 was the player that got me into football back in the early 2000s and i was obsessed with that team from 2005-2009. I just can't see the position they are in and think that this is going to turn out well.
