Saving making sure you don’t spend too much while your out always helps out yourself on a budget and then make sure you don’t break the rule when you’re trying to save.
I met a guy while working in the NYC financial district who proudly told me he lived in public housing. He explained the fact that he had 5 children and a wife to support and he was saving for his children's college tuition plus other goals. There was no shame in his game and made perfectly good sense to me.

I am a former apartment manager in Michigan and Florida for Section 8 and low income housing, part of the reason, these units are in great shape is because the property will loose its funding if HUD finds there are violations. Unfortunately another reason its hard for Brown and Black families to get in , the Rental History has to beon point and no criminal history. The greatest thing about these units is what Dontay says, the rent adjustment will help you if you're employment challenged or your a Student. Great Vlog , Dontay❤

Why move if the apartment is nice & it's affordable? I mean you're already paying market value rent like you would in a regular apartment. But at least there you have the security of not being evicted if you lose income. The only reason to move would be if a home was purchased. Keep getting yourself established & stay there!

I’m in same boat but I’m on section8 not ashamed either but I also pay 1756 in rent monthly while my housing only pay 732$ so I’m paying more than them plus I live in tx in 3 bedroom 2 bath home I pay all my own utilities plus I pay internet on top of two phone bills plus grocery’s no food stamps I work full time security/ new UA-camr as well hope my channel will be as successful

If you buy a home you can buy equity…. But don’t move in to rent another apartment…..stay there as long as you can and save.❤❤❤find a small house in your budget. And save money 💰 to purchase a house… sometimes you can buy a home cheaper than RENT….!! After you purchase your home and living in it you can always buy a bigger home as you make more money 💴

Subsidized housing aka affordable housing is a stepping stone. I lived in a subsidized townhome in Detroit that was really nice while attending nursing school and the nicer the complex the longer the waiting list usually but sometimes that's not the case. The complex you're in isn't considered the projects.
funny that you popped up on my suggested i I just moved out of the tiwn homes. it’s decent in there, but maintenance is not on top of everything and they only clean the place like twice a year… it’s ran down for sure. but it’s better than places in Pontiac and most low income places.

Ring Cameras are for security reasons, you can see who's coming and who's leaving. Folks love to steal folks packages and like to try and break in so the Camera can pick that up. Once get a decent not so expensive land, build your house that you want, like size not so big, easy take care, and maybe if your land big enough can make a campground near your house, and this can make a decent income and the land can be a decent investment
