Great little camper! We have an R-Pod but this camper has the accessibility to pumps, tank etc that we so desire. Also like the pass thru storage and better refridge. Very nice 👍
Great video great interview with Chris, and thanks for bringing up that great question about flooring. There’s going to be many many people liking this trailer
I ran into Chris at the RV Expo in Doswell, VA a few weeks ago and he mentioned they would be introducing a smaller version of the MAX. This is very impressive, there are some great innovations that clearly come from actually listening to what their users are looking for. Well done.
Thank you for watching. Doors are reversible, so it can be changed if one wants it to open the other way. Benefit with opening this way it does not hit the table, so it opens wider.
The only wood is in the cabinetry? I saw stick built structure when you demonstrated the see through storage!! This trailer looks nice but I can't help wondering about the quality of the construction and the knowledge of the Air Force Man e.g. his description of the Azdel. It is not that the Azdel won't absorb water, its advantage is that it is so strong and light, making it a more expensive but superior construction material as opposed to plywood and also, it is used on the inside. The exterior of these trailers are usually gel coated fiberglass, not azdel.
Azdel will not absorb water. It is 50% lighter than Luan, adds additional sound proofing, additional insulation factor. Azdel is what the Fiberglass is laminated too. Has nothing to do with the exterior. Sorry if it was not clear. There are no RV Manufacturers using plywood for sidewall.
Most people would disagree. Maybe campers this size, but most of the larger campers have 6 cubic foot or larger Refer. I always say, doesn't matter the size of the Refer, I always have at least 2 coolers with us....
Thanks for watching. Price & specs are listed below video. Back then Sale Price was $24,999. Not sure where they are right now, should have them back in stock early next year.
Sqeeky door would annoy me the first 5 min when you are trying to enter or exit the trailer if someone is sleeping... I’m 6 foot so looks like my head will be hitting the roof in shower and hitting the air conditioning in the centre of the trailer... other then that it’s a great trailer
The handle on that bottom drawer needs to be removed and replaced with something that won't break somebody's toes. Cause hey, people in trailers go barefoot and that just doesn't work well.
NO! He said "You can pull with small suv" At 1993lbs, you cannot pull with small suv. All small suv have 4cy engine. Thus, mini-max weighs more than small suv 4cy engine towing capacity!
Thanks for watching. Not all Small SUV’s have 4 Cylinder engines. We always look at the persons tow rating before the buy an RV. There are two things to consider when buying an RV, Tongue Weight & Weight of the RV. Never tow more than your vehicle is rated to tow.
Hell of nice little camper. Why rent disgusting bed bug infested overpriced hotel rooms when you can stay in this and not have to lug your luggage around. Towable with most SUVs/minivans.
It is a nice camper, but it depends more on how much you use it and where you take it. You need to use it a lot to justify the $23k price tag that instantly depreciates.
You can buy $1 million campers. Unless money is no object, the more you spend, the more you'd have to use it to 'justify' it. And some do live in them full time ... as it steadily depreciates. Smart investment or not, most people buy it as a luxury item they can afford. But, if you have to finance it, you can't really afford it.
Someone please make the bathrooms larger! Not everyone cares about kitchens and cabinets. All I need is a microwave for a kitchen. Use the room to make bathrooms bigger and wider. This trailer could be lighter as well without the wood. My suv can only tow 2000 pounds. This trailer is near that limit. Still not useable for me. Use more lighter materials. I’m waiting for that one trailer that I could tow. Just an idea for you companies out there who build these things. And not all of us cook either so stoves are not always necessary lol.
Thanks for watching. If enough people say the same thing, that type of change will happen. This one is larger than some of the other teardrops. Most people find even the smaller ones adequate. If you see them at an RV show, talk to them about changes. They are always looking to improve!
Ooo oh, 1 into video I see chsnge i hate kitchen to tbe front and reduced size front window! Noooo! Ok, this is the mini max. Did you keepmthe LGM the same design? I oray you did, as that design is what made your trailer such a great deal than nucamp. You gave large outside space, totally large inside space with the dinette layout and windows galore. All thst verdion needed was a better door thst stoid up to wjnd and a proper door latch. Pls don't make me have to take LGM off my purchase list.
Thanks for watching. This is how it has always been for the Mini Max. This is not a NuCamp or the Little Guy Max. This one is only 17' vs 21' for the Max. Lots of windows for such a small camper.
This trailer is way too heavy for your your tow vehicle. If you can only tow around 1,000 lbs., I recommend the My Pod: ua-cam.com/video/u6QLWqRNyUo/v-deo.html or the Clipper Express: ua-cam.com/video/oYx-qvJYnCo/v-deo.html The specs for these campers are below the video. Good Luck and Thanks for Watching!
Check out the Canadian manufacturer of RVs, Prolite. While they are more bare bones and without luxury items, they produce stand up small campers around 1000 pounds, like the Prolite Eco... Inside height not higher than 6 feet though, not suitable for taller campers...
Nice camper but what does the "Air Force" have to do with it. We're you in the Iraq war? Also never talked about insulation factor in unit other than to say floor is insulated.!!?
I spent almost 10 years in the Air Force. Was Honorably Discharged in March of 1989. Tried to come back in when the war broke out and they wouldn't let me. As far as the insulation factors on RV's, some manufacturers exaggerate what they are. Insulation factors are only for where there are no windows, doors or vents. As far as for this camper, it is not a 4 season camper. Now a 4 season camper insulation factors are important. Thanks for watching!
I absolutely love this little camper .
Great little camper! We have an R-Pod but this camper has the accessibility to pumps, tank etc that we so desire. Also like the pass thru storage and better refridge. Very nice 👍
The mini max is my favorite little rv. I love just love it.
Great video great interview with Chris, and thanks for bringing up that great question about flooring. There’s going to be many many people liking this trailer
Great little trailer that packs in a lot and can still be towed with a crossover. You guys do an outstanding job promoting this!
Thank you for showing the under the bench storage areas.
I ran into Chris at the RV Expo in Doswell, VA a few weeks ago and he mentioned they would be introducing a smaller version of the MAX. This is very impressive, there are some great innovations that clearly come from actually listening to what their users are looking for. Well done.
You guys are awesome.
I can’t wait to see minimax in person.
Thanks for watching!
Great video. Enjoyed it, now I want a mini max
I like that fridge
I like the trailer, except for the price!
This guy always reminds me of the Supervisor of the Caddys in the Caddy Shack movie.
Is the microwave also a convection oven ? 🤔 Also are. The fridge doors reversible ? 🤔
Thanks... keep up the great work 😎
I must say I am impressed like this a lot better then Nucamps 400 really like the fridge size
This version is like nucamps tag320 not tab400. Tab400 had the same bed layout as LGM and a much larger bathroom.
The fridge door is backwards. Who did that? I just checked another 2019 and it opens the opposite direction, properly. Well that was a scary moment.
Thank you for watching. Doors are reversible, so it can be changed if one wants it to open the other way. Benefit with opening this way it does not hit the table, so it opens wider.

How do I take the table out, ?
Just need to take out the screws to the base. Hope that helps.
You're not foolin' me, I know that's Tim the Tool Man, Tim Allen... right? 😁
Dave, can't sneak anything by you!
Big squeak from a little door. LOL
That's my trailer... the squeak went away.
This has a lot of extra features that the Tab 320 is lacking.
All campers should have this size refrigerator.
Most people would disagree. Maybe campers this size, but most of the larger campers have 6 cubic foot or larger Refer. I always say, doesn't matter the size of the Refer, I always have at least 2 coolers with us....
Why is the bottom drawer not the freezer? lol
It is like a crisper.
Price?

I would rather see a little smaller fridge and have the microwave above the fridge, it would also free the current microwave space for more storage
We can make that happen!
The handle on that bottom drawer needs to be removed and replaced with something that won't break somebody's toes. Cause hey, people in trailers go barefoot and that just doesn't work well.
Thanks for the suggestion.
The door needs some grease (wd40)... pretty squeaky for new trailer.
Great trailer overall.
Did you watch the video ? it is a friction door so no slamming.
Boy friend is 6' 2"
Gotta make these with higher bathroom and higher inside roofs!
When you have a wet bath, you sit down to take a shower.

Supercool trailer, but I wish Little Guy made a small trailer with bunks to sleep 4.
Give them time....
I've given them about 15 years so far! :-/
Little Guy hasn't been around that long.
squeaky door.
Wow...that fancy system monitor and it doesn't tell you the voltage on the battery?! Come on guys...
I believe it does, just didn't show it. Will show next time...
I think Paul may be Master Ken's brother.
:)
C'mon man. Admit it!

Heh, I was googling for video's on the minimax algorithm and ended up here somehow!
Hope it was helpful and that you enjoyed it!
Yes indeed, it's something I normally would never look at, but it was a fun watch!
Here is the Factory Tour of the Mini Max being built: ua-cam.com/video/kbFAc44PFxM/v-deo.html

JohnnySixString You do but as a in-law suite. I would pay almost anything.
$23K would not be a lot you can over 50K for a full camper

The 17’ Casita Travel Trailer has one of the roomiest wet baths I’ve seen. It’s located at the front of the camper.
nor looking like a happy camper: 14:56
Quite the opposite. A very intense and focused camper!
Why are all these shown black? Where are colors doesn't anyone do color? Oh well.
Yes, they offer more colors. The Fiberglass can be White or Silver and the accent colors can be Black, Red or Silver.
Dude, throw away the hair gel.
It's called a Hat....
Not you, the manufacturer guy. (Your hat looks good.)
Oh, my bad 🤗

@@TheAirForceGuy yes, I caught the error of my comment missing it was a mini max. Thank you for sharing
The weight is most important
How far under 2000 lbs
We need 1000 pounds not to have to change our mid size Cars
This trailer is way too heavy for your your tow vehicle. If you can only tow around 1,000 lbs., I recommend the My Pod: ua-cam.com/video/u6QLWqRNyUo/v-deo.html

I don't like the new design, I like the old design, with dedicated Bed and dining...
This is the smaller, lighter max. For people that can’t tow the larger one.
The Little Guy Max is still available, this is new Mini Max.
